"The room we had room 107, had a bad smell and the hall way had a bad smell. The bed cover had stands, the towels was old and smell bad. Not satisfied with my experience and I was charged 144.00. false advertisement on there Web site. I will never stay at a red roof again. If red roof want to make it right I need some kind of refund. So very unhappy about the experience."

"Great service and easy to find location! Rooms have been renovated recently and were very clean. There wasn't a great seal around our room door, so we had some light coming from the hallway and we could hear some noise from the hallway. We were there 1 night as a stopover on a roadtrip. It was an excellent budget option. Very affordable without being scary."

"The hotel is posted as non smoking, but you can clearly smell smoke immediately after walking in. They try and mask it with a lot of air freshener but to no avail. There was holes in the wall, chipped paint and wasn’t very clean. The staff was nice, but I would probably stay anywhere else."

"Location was great. Can't complain about that. The room was small for a 2 bed. But my main complaint was the check out time. No wiggle room for that. It has to be at 11 am. I had a time getting funds to stay the night again. But the funds never came. Needless to say. Me and my 2 sons were kicked out. No remorse or anything. So yay. Staff is definitely not friendly here. It's either their way or the highway. I mean kicking me out with my 14 and 5 month old son. Wow. Never going there again"

"My wife and I come to St. George every 3 months for 4 days. For the past 2 years we have stayed at this Red Roof Inn. We are super low maintenance tenants needing only sleep, a place to keep or things and to clean up. This past weekend we arrived around11:30 pm on Saturday night put our things away and it seriously sounded like a train was back and forth above our room. After an hour of complaining to each other we went to call the front desk but the room phone was totally dead (probably not in service anymore). So we then called Red Roof from the cellphone with only a message because it was after hours (1:30am). (understandable?), I was furious as it was well over an hour and had not let up, continually getting louder. So I got dressed and went upstairs and knocked on the door hoping for someone reasonable to answer. I was shocked when the door opened and without exaggerating there were what looked like 20 Mexican refugees in this room, standing room only. There were 3 women in the far corner directly ahead and a number of toddlers on the floor in clear sight when to guy opened the door. Many more bodies on the beds but I could not see well as the wall blocked the rest of the view. I told them that we were below and wanted to sleep and it was 1:30 in the morning so could they stop! One of the ladies shouted from the back "You have no right to tell us what to do". I replied: "maybe the cops will shut you up". I backed up and realized maybe I was out numbered and out of my league on this one. I then returned to my room super angry as the noise continued. My wife went to the front desk where the manager, Fred, scolded her for me going to the room directly and not coming to him. She explained that we tried to call to no avail and he didn't care - we were the "bad guys". for asking it to stop. He told her that we cost him $300 dollars because they were checking out. Apparently because they were mad at me going up? She asked how many people could be in a single room and they said 4. She said they are refugees, and he said they had IDs defensibly. She told him that there were 20 people in one room and he argued no, and that he would have to look it up on the camera but wasn't willing to do so on the spot. They noise never subsided and we got zero sleep. I did not go back up to the room as I know my personality and I would have lead to me being arrested. The noise lasted until 8am when we got out in the morning so they obviously never left. We were very loyal customers but will never stay at this place again. Even for $50 a night this kind of nonsense is unacceptable. It's not really clean or well kept but for the price it had always been the next step above camping which was acceptable. But when the rolls reverse and we become the enemy because of calling out someone who is not doing things right - I am done!. I never leave reviews but this one was justified. I am not ok with sheltering the refugees and making them VIPs. We work hard and contribute to society properly. I want no part of this Red Roof Inn for the future."
