"Another great visit at The Advenire! The staff is truly wonderful and always makes me feel special as an Ambassador member with gifts, hand written notes, and amazing room upgrades! Very cool vibe from the moment you walk in the door! Couldn’t more highly recommend this hotel!"
"Great signature property in St George. It really enhanced my stay in the cozy downtown area. Staff was great, room was excellent, super comfortable and relaxing! W.A.R. restaurant and bar was delicious, $$$, but delicious. I will definitely stay here again."
"HORRIBLE experience. Wanted to love this place so much! The staff at the hotel confirmed me for a suite with my SNA’s. I was traveling with someone and we each wanted our own bed and suites have a pull out couch. I was willing to pay for a suite but when the staffed confirmed a suite with my awards three days prior, I did not bother with paying to upgrade. It even showed the suite as confirmed in the app and in an email I had received. Then I went to check in and they said sorry we downgraded you because we are oversold. They were so incredibly rude about it and said that a manager would be available 2 days later if I wanted to talk to anyone about it. Then, the standard room they put me in had a clogged sink, a shower handle that came off, a picture hanging sideways on the wall, and dirt around the trash can. Wow! They also tried to charge me for valet 5 days when I only used it two and street parking the other days. Would not recommend staying here unless you plan to not interact with the front desk staff at all. She also told me she would email me my receipt at checkout when I said I preferred a printout. When I again asked for a printout because I wanted to double check the charges she just sourly and silently did it without saying absolutely anything to me and refusing to make any eye contact, huffing as she went. After I had stayed in my bad room without any further complaint. Truly a joke… Loved St George though."
"Overall, great hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it and will come again since we sometimes pass through this area. I will start off with the cons. I am a Marriott Platinum member so we were able to choose the breakfast voucher. However, we weren't offered a room upgrade. Breakfast wasn't that great. We both ordered the Arrival of the Sun. Eggs were ok as well as basic toast and bacon. The sausage seemed a bit on the salty side. The potatoes were way overdone. I have had much better breakfasts at other Marriott chains where breakfast is included for all guests. Second con is the valet parking being $18. There is no self parking. An option was to find free street parking but that seemed too inconvenient. Although, the valet service itself was quick. We didn't have to wait at all. One question is do you tip when there's already a cost for valet? I did tip.. but I feel valet should be free so we can tip the valet directly (higher tip). Everything else was great. We loved our room. It was clean. We were on the top floor with a king bed basic room. The room decor was great. The window view was nice. The window was vaulted. I'm sure this is because it's the 4th, top floor. Wood floor throughout. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice with a separate closed door for the actual toilet (this is how it should be in all hotels). Only issue here was there didn't seem to be a place to hang the bath towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We walked around the block and visited a few antique stores. We did get a good deal on the hotel the night we stayed. However, I don't know if I'd pay the higher rate that's usually posted for weekends, etc."
"If you're planning to visit this hotel for "luxury", don't bother. Save the money and go to the cheaper hotels. For one night, it cost us $251 which paid for the anesthetics only. Parking/valet was $18/night. There's no continental breakfast here, go to another Marriott that costs $150 & there you'll get continental breakfast! Also, the bed was super uncomfortable here! The cheaper Marriott bed was way more comfy! You're paying for looks clean/high end but isn't. The staff are nice. I tried buying pads but their shop doesn't carry it! Most basic thing. Just disappointed all around."
