Discovery Children's Museum 360 Promenade Place, Las Vegas, NV 89106

"Cool concept with the tower that kids and parents can ascend together and check out cool exhibits on the way up. However, many more exhibits than I can give higher star ratings for were out of order, in the middle of repair (for who knows how long), and/or neglected. “Disappointing” is the word that I think many will have come to mind. My oldest is almost 5 and he and I were excited because we saw this place on Blippi like 3 years ago. I thought it would be really cool “museum” with exhibits that aren’t copy and paste from other tiny museums I’ve seen. All in all it was fine though. Good for the price, just wish the stuff was more well-managed. Staff was friendly. If you’re making a big trip out for this place, I wouldn’t. If you happen to be in Vegas with your kids, sure. If you want an amazing actual museum from when I was a child, check out The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, North Carolin, and perhaps take some notes, Discovery."

"Excellent place for kids of all ages. I will say even for some young at heart adults :) If you are visiting Vegas with kids, then this has to be on your list. Kids can literally spend hours here. Lot of fun activities to do, and all the nerdy science experiments to perform. Overall day well spent."

"My 15 month old had a great time, although there wasn’t a lot that he could reach/do by himself. It was $32 for my son and I, which I think is a little overpriced for my son’s entry. The water area was perfect for him though! All together, perfect for kids a little older and their parents, too. The bathroom on the first floor has a changing table that was perfect head height for my son which he ran into and gave him a little indent. So I may suggest a corner cover because that thing is sharp. Otherwise it was a great day spent"

"This was so much fun with our daughter. She loved it. Especially the huge gymnasium. That thing was so high and so many levels. It's amazing that it goes that high with so much to do. The water area was fun and refreshing, and the fantasy playground was adorable. The kids can make up plays and just pretend."
