"It has been just over a year since I had upper and lower blepharoplasty done by Dr. Denise Garcia. I did the upper lids for "vision" and the bottom for "vanity" There probably isn't a "best time" to do this simple, but life changing, surgery. Patience and a cool pair of sunglasses are definitely necessary. I was bruised around, and particularly under, my eyes for quite a while. But once the swelling and bruising was gone--WOW! I've struggled with trichiasis this year, (had 2 other doctors perform plucking of eyelashes) and was nervous about minor eye surgery. "Professional, clean and sensitive. Variety of services and products, Dr. Garcia explains everything and Susanna is very gentle. Office Manager (Sonya) and Assistant (Rose) also made sure I was comfortable while waiting, answered questions and made sure to keep me updated with wait time. I had laser hair removal, laser spot treaeants for facial blood vessels and hyperpigmentation. Little stinging zaps, but well trained professionals and top of the line equipment.
