"After doing my due diligence (ty www) I read about Dr. Howell, scheduled and attended preliminary visits and I knew I found my prosthodontists; he’s an artist, disguised as a dentist. An amazing eye for detail too! This was my final move to full dentures, took 6-months and with proper planning for my work, it went off exactly as planned. "How do you thank someone who has changed your life? From the moment I walked into Dr. Howell's office, him and his entire staff treated me with care and respect. Since I was 18, I had had several dental procedures/restorations from Canada, the US, and more recently Mexico. I thought I could save some money by going to Mexico. You get what you pay for - They made my smile worse! I had never been to a prosthodontist. Too many dentists call themselves "cosmetic" dentists but they do not have the specialized training that a prosthodontist has. Not one of them ever said to me, that my case was too complicated and that I should see a specialist. They were all too happy to take my money and deliver less than satisfactory results. At 65 years old, I thought that I was finally going to have to accept removable dentures. Dr. Howell realized and took the challenge of working with my existing implants even tough they had not been placed in the correct position. He made the most beautiful fixed bridge for me , which corrected every mistake that had been made by bad dentistry. For the first time in my life , I am not hiding my smile! I would highly recommend Dr. Howell to anyone considering cosmetic changes to their smile!"

"I have had 5 lower dental implants for 25 years and an upper denture. Every 5 or 6 years they both need to be replaced due to aging, bite change and wear and tear. In 2009, I paid $5,500 in Canada to have this work done. In 2015, the quote for the same work (from the same prosthodontist) was $8000. I had done some research on having this work done in Algadones, Mexico. It took me 4 months of email correspondence to determine that the cost would be between $2300 and $3700 USD, depending on the scope of the work. I went there for a consult, paid $150 USD for an assessment, consult and panoramic xray. I had neither a level of comfort nor answers to my questions. The equipment was old, staff were unprofessional and did not appear to have the expertise with implants that I required. I was there for almost 4 hours and had to wait an hour to see 1 of 2 prosthodontists who appeared too young to have the required level of education and training. I did not see any certificates of qualifications except one, from Mexico, for the person to whom cheques were payable. My friend in Mesa mentioned Dr. Howell's office. It was a 20 minute walk from where I was staying. I did some research on line, booked an appointment for an assessment and xray. I was charged only $80 USD and was given an electronic copy. The copy I was given in Algadones was corrupt and unreadable!! I was given several treatment options and they were explained clearly to me. Dr. Howell was extremely professional and said that the old implants that I have require a special screwdriver to remove the screws/abutments from the lower fixed bridge. They were unlikely to have this tool in Mexico and might have "stripped" the screws on removal and not had access to replacements. The quote they gave me in Algadones included an additional $1250 USD if the screws had to be replaced. Dr. Howell replaced the screws and gave me the old ones! I spent a total of 1.75 hours in their office, including assessment, 45 minutes to remove the lower fixed bridge and 30 minutes to insert/install the new one. This took less than 2.5 days. The dental lab did an excellent job in a very short period of time. Algadones required me to be there for 6 - 7 days! I spent a “week” there one half day! Dr. Howell and his staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient, effective, humble, ethical, punctual and friendly. For those of you who are impatient and skipped to the bottom of this review, my total cost, including final xray and any follow up adjustments for sore spots (none necessary) was $2300 USD, $3281 CDN on my credit card. Algadones charged an additional 4% for credit cards! Dr. Howell’s treatment was a 41% saving, despite the low Canadian dollar. I saved enough to pay for my trip and shop at Phoenix Outlet Mall…!!"
