State Farm Insurance

"State Farm was our go-to insurance company for many years. But, we were treated very unfairly after a claim. Last year we had a partial house fire (in February) the SF Appraiser came out (complaining of insufficient SF personnel coverage in this area) and he was unable to find experience, timely and local contractor to do the repairs. My wife and I scrambled to find a local reliable contractor that SF Appraiser approved of. This construction contractor (and others) stated State Farm is underestimating the entire job and it would be difficult to restore to the same condition. Following that February 2021 construction materials started skyrocketing in cost. The appraiser refused to acknowledge that “fact” and my family had to find financing to complete the repairs and make the house inhabitable. Following this our complaints to SF customer service were ineffective, only putting a burden back on us. Following all this State Farm refused us future coverage, their claiming we had two claims in the same year. That was untrue. This insurance company will not step up when it’s time to help you. Next stop the AZ Insurance Commissioner."

"I seriously believe this office is only about the money and not about the customer. This agent took over from our previous agent and we've had insurance with them for almost 20 years for the past five years they have treated us so horribly and now they are threatening to cancel our policy because of a VIN number photo on a brand new vehicle that their office had taken incorrectly and now we are being threatened with a policy cancellation not having any claims or accidents. I would be leery of State Farm by all means I've never had a ticket I've never had an accident and I am treated terribly. The only time they call you is when they want to sell you something. They used to have really nice customer service agents in that office but the ones that I've been dealing with as of late is absolutely rude and treats you like you're a liar. So if you like being treated terribly this would be the office for you."
