I wasn’t prepared for this and after calling 3 times to request a refund, JEREMY HANDLED IT! He is THE BEST! He even called me back to confirm my refund (a credit back to my card) was on its way & in 72 hours, it was in my account. Thank you, Jeremy for your impeccable customer service!"

"Buyer beware! I had a storm & the winds lifted my metal roof on my park model. My policy covers this damage. Something flew threw the air & put a hole in a metal panel. I had a licensed roofing company come out, they told me this & put the roof back down & patched the hole. The roofer said it's a temporary fix. That I need the roof replaced. I turned in the claim. This company sends a 3rd party inspector. The insurance company & the inspector had roofing company information to contact them. They didn't contact the roofer & after a month deny my claim stating preexisting damage and no upkeep on the roof. There was nothing wrong with my roof until this storm. My agent is now involved. I'm going to the attorney general and finding an insurance attorney. I also turned it into a news station. Lesson learned. Research any insurance company thoroughly before you get a policy. I'm paying out of pocket for a new roof while I'm fighting this. I paid these people for nothing. Needless to say I'm getting a different insurance company. Update a week later and my insurance agent said that there hasn't been any response from Commonwealth. I got this policy less than 2 years ago and they had no problem insuring me."

"If I could give negative stars I would. This company is the worst we have been very had. We were looking for a new homeowner insurance and our car insurance agent set us up with Commonwealth. That was the worst thing he could have done. Unfortunately we had a water damage claim from our laundry room within the first 60 days. The first thing Commonwealth did was issues a cancellation notice. While we understand due to claim in the first 60 days, the first reason they listed was because we are a townhouse which they do not have a policy for! So they took our money for no policy? Next they denied our claim due to "wood rot caused by ongoing issues". Yet, no mold was found which is a precursor to wood rot. Plus, they refused to take I to account our home is 50 years old so the wood rot may be age related and not water related. We knew the moment the contactors showed up for water mitigation we were told they had to file against Commonwealth and have a specific form that now has to be used when they deal with Commonwealth. My advise, run! Run very fast. Do not use this company!"

"If I could collect no Stars I would! My vehicle was involved in a hit and run by Commonwealth insured! Hit my truck so hard it landed in the driveway. They acknowledged fault and Almost 4 months later and they have not settled the claim! I have left messages for 2.5 months and the claim representative nor supervisor will respond. Files a complaint with BBB still no resolution! They are a ruthless fraudulent insurance company!"

"BEWARE: STAY AWAY When the huge storm came thru back in July of 2021, it blew off my barn roof, damaged my house roof to the point when it was raining I had to place bowls down in my house. The damage opened up my house to roof rats, Common wealth refused to pay for the damage, A lawyer, PA, and even hired a special engineer to come help with my case. They reported traffic damage to my roof, ( Made me laugh ( Santa ain’t real). Again dragging their feet on getting back with people involved. Everyone involved always claimed they are a huge pain to deal with. Now 2023, company still has not made it right and I had to finance against my house to get this issues fixed. Horrible company and they won’t take care of you when your in need. Their insurance motto makes me laugh they don’t do anything like they say."
