"Don’t go to Chicos smoke shop. I went there today and was charged $14.80 for using my credit card. They gave their customers no warning of some type of new POS system in advance before implementation. I asked the girl which appeared new. There was a sign posted. That credit card transactions were more than cash. I asked her what this was about? She said: “It really just depends.” “It all just depends.” That not all CC transactions would be more. I gave her my card and she said that will be $370.00. However when I was presented with the receipt. The charge was $384.80. Even though I asked for an opportunity to understand and clarification before swiping my card as to how it would be charged versus cash. I was not given the opportunity to go and get cash. I was also lied to. The charge on my card would be $370.00. I will not be back. I will take my business elsewhere. Probably to Tobacco Barn. I spent a lot of money at Chicos. But clearly they do not value their customers business. This business needs to be transparent on their policies and how customers will be charged."
