Black Lotus Tattooers

"Shout out to Black Lotus Tattooers and specifically David O'Donnell. This is a real tattoo shop. Every resident artist is VERY talented. I spent about 10 hours in the chair with David over a few visits and got to see the work of others and get a great feel for the shop. I had a 25+ yr old tribal art tattoo on my shoulder that i wanted covered up. David was eager to do the work and provided great ideas and exuded the confidence you want in an artist. This is not a "cut-and-paste" shop, but rather a shop where you want to give your idea to the artist and allow them to express their artistic expertise and freedom in the piece. I was a bit unsure on how the initial drawing would turn out, but upon arriving for my first appointment, what David had created was nothing short of amazing...he NAILED it!! His line work, and color options were spot on and I am very pleased with the results. The work in this shop ranges from American Traditional to Neo Traditional and Illustrative, pop-culture and realism...they cover it all. David is a very laid-back guy and easy to talk to but the shop also has energy and you can tell that the rapport the artists have with each other is genuine. Each artist is truly interested in the others work and complimentary... "Oh, I remember you working on that drawing...it's turning out fantastic..." I whole-heartedly recommend Black Lotus. Do your homework, but definitely go and talk to the staff at BLT before making your final decision. You wont be disappointed. I cant recommend them enough and will definitely be back for more work."
