Jalapeńos #2 Restaurant

"I am truly disappointed in the experience I had at this restaurant last night on 03/15/2024. I typically don’t post bad reviews but I couldn’t let this go. Mind you I typically visit jalapeños 2 in San tan valley regularly and have typically had great food, fast service and no issues. Last night was not the case. I go in there and order my dinner with my girlfriend and we wait about 40 minutes for our food to get done. After 30 minutes advised the waitstaff that I could no longer wait for my food and that I simply want my money back. I was then told we don’t give refunds then proceeded to wait an additional 10 minutes for my burrito and my enchiladas to be done. When the food came out it wasn’t even warm and it looked completely uneditable. I would have considered myself a regular but I will never go back to this restaurant and I’ll be sure to let everyone know how terrible this place is in San tan valley. If you want jalapeños go to the one in Florence or Coolidge stay away from this one. The food is trash the service is trash and I’m completely disappointed that I spent 30 bucks for food I had to wait 40 minutes for that I couldn’t even consume then to be told we don’t do refunds. I didn’t even eat my food last night and ended up going somewhere else. This place sucks and I feel like they robbed me for 30 bucks. I work hard for my money and will never spend it at this place again."

"We come here all the time.!! Never have we ever had the experience we did tonight. The little girl who was waitressing, answering calls, & taking payment was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you can’t handle times when they are busy then get a different job. If you are having a rough day do not take it out on the customer! You were extremely rude & we will no longer be going to jalapeños where we literally spend money weekly. It’s one of our go to spots when I do not feel like cooking.! Do better little girl. Now look at the tacos! Falling apart! I asked for no cheese! Got cheese! I do not know what happened to this place…sad."

"Our family was here on a Sunday evening and enjoyed a very tasty, authentic Mexican meal. The service was excellent, the environment was clean and pleasant. Nothing fancy... just good food at a very fair price with friendly workers. We would certainly return when in the area."

"Really not sure what happened to this place. Been going here since they opened. At first they were great. The last two visits ruined it and won't be back. Last time was a 35 minute wait, tonight was an hour... They were "out of tortillas" but said if we wait 40 minutes or so they will have some.... While the rest of our food was already cooked and waiting... So had to get a partial refund, while the food we did get, the fries were soggy and the meat was overcooked, hard and dry... Last time it was the same quality. Not going to be coming here anymore."

"The food here is great and the staff was very helpful. I didn’t even order chips but they offered some on top of my meal. I feel like I would have been good with just two of these tacos with the dipping sauce because it was a ton of food. If you’re driving by it’s worth the stop."
