"Word to the wise. You'll be forced to use 'smart checkout' 90% of the time. This continuously backs the line up at all times of day. The smart scanner then reads things wrong, thus further slowing down the checkout process. If you need smokes, you need to wait for an employee to show up and get them, again MORE slowness. If you wanted to enter your number for discount on smokes or the drink club, it doesn't work. Self checkout surely has its place, but the way this store has completely shut down their normal registers has stopped me from coming here. You can tell some of the employees stress over this too, especially the young man on overnights. There's another gas station 2 blocks down and less expensive. And you deal with a human. Bad call on management's part to do this, especially at the height of busy season. I'll gladly take my $15-20 a day elsewhere and save my time."
