"This location has TERRIBLE customer service and are VERY RUDE. There's a reason why it's called "customer service." It's service and full attention to the paying customer. Unprofessional. I like coming here because this store has what i need and it's close to my residence. While the cashier was ringing up my items, manager started conversation with the cashier. So, the cashier stopped ringing me up to talk to the manager. I waited. The customer is first! She could have waited till the cashier was finished ringing me up. While they proceded to interupt my service, I stated can you please speed it up. I'm in a hurry. The manager stated, "ring her up slower." They concidered ME to be rude. Lol Excuuuuse meee buuut the cashier is doing her job and the manager interupted me in MY getting MY transaction completed. Now, that is rude. Both the manager and the regional manager began to argue with me. They said the customer is not first. Lol I DON'T agree... They need serious customer service trainng classes, multiple! They even suggested I do not return due to their misrepresentation and misunderstanding of what being rude is. Well, that's one thing we agreed upon. Believe me, I won't return to this location ever again, untill all employees aaaand management aaand regional management is replaced. For now I will DELIGHTFULLY! go to another location with better humanity. I've read a few reviews. But these were posted many years ago and they were great. If this business location wants to survive, they will highly concider dismissing the discrentled employees. (The cashier was innocent) Aaaall the people that work there need serious concidering of replacing them with better more civilized and evolved humans. Enough said. I feel better now that I vented. Especially knowing, I will NOT return until my request has been honored! I will gladly go out of my way to get better service. Adding insult to injury (that could have been handled with them having better manners and know how about customer service. ) These 2 employees plus the cashier lied big time and turned this situation upside down and fabricated their new story. Plus, evertime I went there were long lines n only one cashier. And the rest of the employees just sat in their chairs, on there phones and had their nonemployees, friends back there socializing while we all stood there waiting in line to be serviced."
"Very spacious and clean store. We are very excited to have them in the neighborhood. However when I purchase clothing from them I always set the alarm off on my way out. I have to go back in while they deactivate the security device. The last time I purchase an outfit for my granddaughter and I wanted to wash it so she could wear it the next day. Sadly there was a security device still attached to the cotton t-shirt. I had to find time to get back up to the store and have the device removed from the very thin white t-shirt. It was a two piece outfit denim overall shorts and a white shirt. So here I am today trying to wash and press that very outfit so she can finally wear it and I noticed a hole in the shirt where the security device had been poked through. Smh! Why not put the device on the denim Family Dollar and not on the delicate cotton shirt!! Now what do I do?"
"I frequent this location lots since I live across the street. Stopped in today for a drink and asked the lady working if they were hiring(they always have NOW HIRING signs up and my mother has been wanting a part time job)and I was completely shocked with her reply... "I would love to get a man in here but my GM is only hiring females right now!" with a smile on her face as she says it. I was completely taken back by her answer and still cannot believe she actually said that."
