"Absolutely love this place. I have always gone to Arizona hair co. for my haircuts at a different location, this time I wanted a change with a short hair cut and highlights and this location had availability. I absolutely adore Kaitlin and will continue coming to this location to have Kaitlin do my hair going forward. She worked with me to find out what I wanted and gave her creative control to what she thought was best, she had extensive knowledge and I trusted her input. My hair LOOKS AMAZING. I’ve gotten compliments on it daily and I absolutely love how confident I feel. Danny was absolutely a gem as well, and will definitely see her if Kaitlin is ever away as a backup. The vibes are friendly and fun. I can’t recommend Kaitlin enough, definitely will be back!"

"If we could leave 0 stars, we would. We called on a Saturday for a last-minute appointment at 2:30 PM. We were hoping to celebrate my mother’s recovery with a fresh haircut and hair color, which I expressed to the woman on the phone. My mother only speaks Spanish and I stayed to help translate her wants to the “stylist”. We were serviced by a young woman named Kaitlin, who I can only describe as inexperienced and hostile. When we tried to express our concerns to Kaitlin, she became almost aggressive with us and repeated that it was my mother’s hair type that was hard to work with. I shared details of my mother’s hair with Kaitlin from the beginning so she was aware of my mother’s thin/frail hair type. We felt that if Kaitlin didn’t feel comfortable working with that kind of hair, she could have communicated that to us from the beginning instead of making us sit through almost 4 hours of “styling” that ended up looking mediocre at best. Instead of lowering ourselves to her level, we decided to stop arguing and just let her finish so we could leave. However, at check-out, she kept us hostage and arguing over our ‘lack of communication’ when I had been translating for my mother during our entire visit (including a second rinse as she left too much product on my mother’s scalp). On several occasions, Kaitlin consulted with another woman for advice or instructions on the coloring, product, hair cut, and styling. She was provided with so much assistance that we felt compelled to ask if this was an actual salon or more of a beauty school. Overall, I wouldn’t waste my money or time here again. Especially not with Kaitlin. We ended up paying for the service, however, we’re sorely disappointed we couldn’t speak to a manager because of our ordeal today. My mother left upset which makes me upset because this was meant to be a joyous occasion. Arizona Hair Co#6, you need to do better."
