"I have been going to Tara for 2 years now for lash extensions, & she has taken care of the health of my natural lashes. She ensures to do lashes that are right for your face, and takes pride in her work. She always tries to improve her techniques, and I am pleasantly surprised every time. The work lasts a long time too, & only fall off as my natural lashes fall off. Not a place to go if you want extremely heavy, unnatural looking lashes, as she will never put anything on that will damage your lashes. I would definitely recommend this place!!!"
"I used to go to Platnium for spray tans in college and returned to Smokey Eye years later (I lived elsewhere for a couple years) after having my eye lashes destroyed at another place. First place I went to had tape uncomfortably jabbed into my eye for two hours, no music playing, and a very glue happy lash artist. In fear for my poor decrepit eyelashes I booked a same day appointment and got in with Danielle who was an absolute sweetheart, she used a tape that was SO COMFORTABLE, she was very gentle and the whole experience was pain free, in sheer contrast to my last lash nightmare. Danielle took the time to make sure everything felt good and looked good when we were done and even gave me a little complimentary lash comb- which I thought was awesome since other places try to charge you for them. I personally love the text option, I find it extremely convenient when I’m on the go and juggling my schedule. I’ve never personally met MJ but so far I have been a big fan of the services and environment her business(es) offer. Thanks for fixing my gunky glue lashes Danielle, and keep up the good work MJ! I appreciate y’all!"
"I’m a college student and this was my first experience with eyelash extensions. I have done a good amount of research on the process and on the maintenance of the lashes so I decided to look into salons and found Smokey on google. I was able to get in right away. I was quoted $125 for a full set which I was gonna grit my teeth and pay. I got there and was ready to lay down for an hour & a half to 2 hours but, my lash technician said they could complete a full set in an hour, which kind of bothered me. This bothered me because I would rather they take their time and if I’m paying $125, plus tip, I want to get the full time and care that goes into it but, I trusted she could do a good job. So, the end result is nice, we agreed on something more natural for my first full set so, I wasn’t blown out of the water with the result but I liked them. Then I was charged $150 for the set even though I was quoted $125... I still paid without saying anything and gave a tip. Within the first day, lashes were already falling out but, I brushed it off thinking it was normal. I was doing everything to manage them, avoiding oil-based products, sleeping on my back, not getting them wet and brushing them out in the morning. Then by the fifth day, pretty much ALL my lashes fell out so, I called the owner. She was very pleasant and told me it was an unusual circumstance that my lashes fell out and she told me they could schedule me in to fill my lashes with no charge. I warned her that I basically needed a full set and wanted to clarify they were willing to not charge me if I go back. She kind of avoided the question and said she will just schedule me and it won’t be a problem so, I rescheduled the next week. I go into my appointment and my technician only scheduled time for a fill, so I knew they didn’t understand how many of my lashes fell out. She then sat down with me and was shocked on how many of the lashes fell out and how unusual it was even though I said they all fell out on the phone... Anyways, she then tells me she has to charge me for the fill ($55) because she KNOWS she didn’t do anything wrong the last time. First off, the boss told me on the phone that they wouldn’t charge me, at least for a fill. And second, you might need an ego check to realize that sometimes something goes wrong. But, I still ended up paying for the fill. Why? I don’t know. This time she was rushing because I basically needed a full set but she only booked time for a fill. So the result was an incomplete eye and some lashes that were glued to my eyelid (which hurt really bad the next day). My technician then asks to call me later in the week to schedule another fill in the next couple days and told me I would still have to pay $50... Which was absolutely ridiculous to me that I would have to pay AGAIN because you didn’t book enough time the first time? And at that point I knew I was never coming back because by that time I knew I just got ripped off and that they could care less about their clients and care more about their ego and money. I would not recommend Smokey Eye & Lash Parlour."
"I've never had eye lash extensions and was always afraid to get them but i took the chance and tried Smokey. I had the BEST experience a first time customer could have. Tara was so welcoming, sweet and very down to earth. She not only does an amazing job but she makes your visit very personal. I highly recommend coming to Smokey. You will not regret it."
"Thank God I found Smoket Eye and Lash Parlour when I did! They saved my lashes! I had fake lashes applied at another salon and they were horrible. They looked terrible and did not feel right AND my real lashes were starting to fall out the day after I had them applied. The great ladies at the Lash Parlour took the time to explain the different type of lashes and what lashes would be most appropriate for me. I had the mink lash extensions applied several weeks ago and just had my first fill. They are awesome! They look natural and real and are weightless. I can't even feel them . I've had so many compliments. Best of all they're not damaging my existing lashes. I would highly recommend the Smoky Eye and Lash Parlour. They definitely care about their clients and know what they're doing! Next service I'm getting is the spray tan. Can't wait to go back. Thanks again."
