"Preston and Maggie has truly been a blessing from God, Preston has done a great amount of work on all my vehicles which include Timing belt, waterpump, transmission flush, tune-ups, serpentine belt etc. Can't stop recommending this family, especially understanding Preston's passion for helping"
"Diagnosed and fixed my 2010 Kia forte in a timely manner. Highly recommended. Shop quality work at friends and family pricing. Don’t believe the 1 star review, clearly a scamming Karen with more time than brains. Once again highly recommended!"
"I needed a fuel pump and sending unit replaced on my 2006 Cadillac and found Preston on Facebook Marketplace where his services were advertised. He quoted a two-day job at a cost of $2100 and I dropped my car off on December 19th. When I initially spoke with Preston, I was highly impressed, he is well-spoken and comes across as a knowledgeable mechanic. I was completely fooled; he kept the car for nearly two months and within an hour returning the car back to me, it died immediately. During the two months he had possession of the car the excuses started immediately and continued until March 1st. Seven days after the car was dropped off, he asked for full payment because his bank account was hacked and needed money to purchase parts. Instead of paying him for a job that wasn’t done I offered and paid for the parts over the phone with my credit card. Eight days later he asks for full payment again telling me again, he needs the money to purchase more parts. I wanted the car done so I paid him in full. He was still having problems with the car not starting and discovered the fuel pump he purchased and installed was defective and he explained he’s been having multiple quality issues with AC Delco parts. So, by his admission he was fully aware of the quality issues yet still installed the part anyways without testing it prior to installation. Eight more days pass and he provides an update that the car is leaking fuel due to the O-rings being old, fractured and brittle. By his admission again, he knew the O-rings were old and damaged yet re-installed them anyways, clearly negligence on his part again. The car was brought back to me on Feb 1st where he surprised me with an additional bill for $950 to reinstall the fuel pump that was defective and to replace damaged O-rings. I questioned him on why he was billing me for his mistakes. However, he made more excuses, and I paid him anyways because I don't like confrontation and was happy to finally have my car back. However, the car died after he left, and I contacted him right away. He came back the following morning in order to scan and diagnose, however he was unable to get his scanner to communicate with the car and was unable to get a diagnosis, however he assured me he would come back with a Tech2 Scanner. Little did I know this would be the last time I’d see him regarding the problems with my car. He strung me along for another month through text messages, making multiple promises to come back with a Tech2 Scanner. He also continued denying any wrongdoing and claimed the problems were a coincidence and had nothing to do with his work. Yet all dashboard messages and codes points directly to the job he performed, and he never came back to scan or prove otherwise. He eventually sent a message stating that he’s choosing not to take responsibility or be liable and wished me the best of luck. At this point I’m out $3563 and the car is dead in the garage. His lack of honesty and compassion is beyond my comprehension and my goal moving forward is to protect future customers from his incompetence, lack of integrity and poor business practices. He’s unqualified to repair vehicles and will not stand behind his work. As soon as I get the car repaired a lawsuit will be filed and will follow up this review with the outcome. This is a short version of what actually happened and if you’re reading this review, I highly recommend you don’t trust him personally and definitely don’t trust him with your car."
"Preston does a great job! He looked at both our vehicles and gave us a great estimate and a quick turn around. It’s nice to know an honest mechanic."
"A honest and fair Certified Auto Mechanic. Preston is a highly motivated, qualified and ASE Certified auto Mechanic. He started with changing my motor mounts (I was kind of testing him out). He did a great job, my engine ran so smooth I couldn’t even tell it was running! Later when I found an oil leak I took it back to him. He could have fixed the leak and said “Done” but not Preston, he found other (apparent but not obvious) problems that if left unchecked could cause substantial damage to my engine. He pointed them out and corrected them. All for less than I could have imagined. He works side by side with his wife. A dynamic Duo if you will. Should you choose to use their services you will NOT be disappointed! Thanks again ROCKWELL PERFORMANCE!"
