However, after years of high maintenance cuts and "shelf" type layers, I decided to try something new. I was looking for a low maintenance, shag haircut and came across Forage Salon during my search. I was enticed by their welcoming atmosphere and helpful social media pages which showed past clients. Shaye, the owner and cutting specialist, did my hair, and I couldn't be happier! She started with a long list of questions and follow up questions to understand my routine and style boundaries. I work in academia, so I didn't want too over the top, but I really wanted layers, volume, and more bounce! Shaye absolutely nailed it, and she was a great person to chat with (a must for me when it comes to stylists)! I'm so happy I found her and this salon. I'm going to take my mom (who has spiral curls) for her next cut, because I know they will take good care of her!"
