"I went in asking for a trim with long layers and face framing. My hair is now short with some bangs only on the left side. I’ve gotten the same haircut for years, always asking for the same thing, but this time I left in tears. I expressed that it was too short in the beginning only to be rebuffed and explained to that “she knows what she’s doing”. Her exact wording was; that it was “only an outline”. After that I noticed she was annoyed with me. Becoming mildly aggressive with my scalp and her comb. At one point even threw hair off of her in disgust and hitting me (accidentally, I hope) with her elbow. I already felt bad because I could clearly see it wasn’t what I wanted and could tell she was mad, so her making any physical contact with me was even more upsetting. After I still expressed that it was too short only again to be rebuffed. I paid and even tipped 45% in cash. Went home and styled it, still trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, no she butchered my hair. Spoke to the manager, who was very nice and tried to make it right, but the damage is done. I don’t trust anyone to touch my hair again. I got a refund, but now I have to live like this for the next few months. Not only with a bad haircut, but bad overall experience. Including photos of my current cut and my hair from the last month."
