"I recently got Gel-X nails done at Waily's Nail Salon and I had a pretty disappointing experience. I was really excited to try Gel-X because I've heard great things about it, and her Instagram page looked amazing. But unfortunately, the service itself didn't live up to my expectations. One major issue was the cuticle cutting. It was way too rough. I ended up with cuts on all of my nails, which was really painful and took over a week to heal. I've gotten acrylic tips and dip nails before, and I've never had a problem with the cuticle cutting, so I was really surprised by this. When I told Waily that she was hurting me, she just brushed me off and jokingly said that "beauty is pain sometimes." I understand that any professional nail service can be a little uncomfortable, but I don't think that it's necessary to be in pain for the entire process. I also tried to give her some feedback about the cuticle cutting and being more gentle for a future service, but she was just dismissive and said it was part of providing a professional service. The most disappointing part was that nails didn't last as long as expected. They started popping off after just under two weeks, which is way shorter than I was expecting. I lost almost half my nails. A huge bummer! I was told that Gel-X nails should last up to three weeks, so I was really disappointed when they started coming off so soon. I don't know if that speaks to the technique or quality of products used. I was really disappointed that this was my experience with the Gel-X nails. I hope that this review will help other people make an informed decision about where to get their Gel-X nails done."

She listens to her clients and makes them feel absolutely wonderful. I will not allow anyone else to do my nails. As a matter of fact, I travel over an hour to have her do them. She uses real quality products to create trendy and modern nails and designs. My acrylic nails last a long time, I do a fill every four weeks without any problems. I love the dry/waterless pedicure service that she provides with exfoliation, dead skin removal, and hydration. Best of all, there is no direct contact with water, so there is no risk of fungal infections. She is meticulous in her work and takes the time to make sure you are satisfied with the service. Wailys is super attentive and friendly and her salon is beautiful and very clean and cozy. Make an appointment with her fast since her spaces are reserved quickly, you will not regret it."
