"I went in 4 weeks ago and got acrylic nail tips - it took just under 2.5 hours to do, which seemed a bit long but I was fine with it because I would rather have lovely nails than rushed nails. They were super sturdy and well done. I went back on Tuesday at 1:00 to get them taken off for school and work, and it took an hour and 45 minutes for the nails to be removed. Which again, is a while but I would be okay with it if it were well done. Sadly, I cannot say that. A newer cosmetology graduate did my nails originally, and then a second tech with more experience came after to help finish. I was given a 5 dollar discount, although it unfortunately left my nails in poor shape. There are several areas on my nails that still have residue on them, and other parts that are red where the nail has been eroded too far. I cannot wash my hands without heat sensitivity, and any pressure on the nail on those spots is painful. I couldn't communicate with anyone because neither of the 2 techs spoke more than a few words of English, so I gave up, paid, and left. I was hoping my nails were just sensitive after the removal but the pain has continued. I hope in the future the training and staffing is to the point where communication and support is available so this doesn't happen again. The second photo shows one of the nails that is damaged although it is difficult to capture on camera - the center tip has left over acrylic tip where it is thicker, and the left side of my nail is red where the nail was sanded too far and is extremely sensitive. I am about to graduate as a nurse and the state of my nails has made it difficult for me during class and in the hospitals."

"I had my acrylic nails removed and dip nails done. She did an AMAZING job. Not only did she match a design picture that I brought in, but she improved on it with a different color dip that I asked for AND glow in the dark dip for the nude color. It came out way better than I could have imagined, she was wonderful and funny, she allowed my fiance to sit with me, and she was just lovely all around. I found my new nail salon! I drive out from Benson for nails and will definitely be back!"

"I’ve visited VN Nails several times and each experience has been absolutely amazing. Hanh and Steven are always so friendly and do incredible work regardless of the service. All nail colors are available in gel, paint and dip (dip is super cool, looks and feels like gel and is better for your nails!). Most recently, i had only booked enough time for a mani/pedi but my friend and i changed our minds last minute to do extensions/acrylic which would take more time. Understanding that we probably wouldn’t be able to do it, Hanh surprised us by calling her mother to come help accommodate our request! They are so service oriented and friendly that i will continue recommending this salon to everyone and refuse to go anywhere else in Tucson!"
