Grigg's Auto Body

"I brought my 2020 Honda Ridgeline truck to Gregg’s Auto Body Shop to have a dent repaired.  I made an appointment for Monday the February 26thand David (manager) said he can have it back on Tuesday the 27th.  I called on the 27th and it wasn’t ready.  On Wednesday 28th I called again three times, same excuse. The third call he didn’t pick up (new my number on caller ID). On Thursday, the 29th, I called and really started to complain.  So he ordered a rent a car for, me from Enterprise.  I picked it up at 7: PM Thursday and had to have it back Monday March4th at 7:00 PM.  Monday the 4th of March my truck was supposed to have been ready at 3 in the afternoon.  Went there Monday March 4th and it wasn't ready.  Now me being really upset, David said, come back at 5PM.  I did, and the truck was finally ready.      Tuesday morning, I inspected my truck.  There was paint overspray all over the truck.  You rub your fingers on the surface, you could feel the over spray.  On Wednesday the 7th I went back to Grigg's Auto Body, and they agreed that the truck had over spray over about 80% on the truck.  They told me to bring it back in the morning.  I'm NOT bringing it back because I don't trust them.  My two-day job took a week.  I went to Dicks Auto Rebuilders on 24th to see if he could take off the over spray on my truck.  He was too busy to do it now but suggested using a wet sandpaper of 3000 grit.  I bought some and started to do it and he was right.  I work well and then a coat of car wax.  It will be about a 5-hour job to clean up my truck.  I would never go back to Grigg's Auto Body Shop again.  They did fix the dent but did a poor job of painting,"

"I resurface paint on automobiles, Airplanes, boats and etc. I had a customer bring their 2023 Yukon to me after picking the vehicle up from Griggs and it was destroyed from a paint perspective. There were chips of paint missing, hair in the paint, dirt nibs in the paint, horrible runs in the paint and much more. If this is indicative of their quality of work I would never use them. I will attach photos if I can. Just horrible, that the customer has to pay me to address this kind of mess, after paying a "bodyshop"."
