She gave us an upgrade on our rental because we had to wait in a line to pick up, but I truly enjoyed listening to her interact with everyone in such an upbeat, professional manner. "It seemed to start out well until I got in the car and the maintenance required light was on. I went back in the office and explained I didn’t feel comfortable taking the vehicle and Hector came out of the back room and said oh it’s probably just the oil change. I said I still didn’t feel comfortable as I knew we would be doing some traveling and didn’t wanna take a chance that it “might” be the oil change. All of a sudden the demeanor of the customer service clerk changed. She sent Hector to get us a different vehicle and after over 25 minutes waiting for Hector to bring the car around I went back in and she said well he had to wash it and clean the cooties out of it. Finally after about another 10 minutes Hector brought the car around and not a drop of water on the car and the inside was dusty. I felt like they were mad that I questioned the safety of the car and just took their time and made us wait. By the way they gave that car to an elderly handicapped couple"

"The overall experience was great. The car was great and the service was friendly and courteous. The only quirks I have are that rental cars are incredibly overpriced and my second quirk is that the return process is more lengthy than I expected. However, this is directly related to the BHC airport. There is no dedicated rental car return, so I had to wait in line just to return the car. I don't hold this against Avis. It's this airport. The representative was very friendly and courteous and I didn't wait very long."
