I purchased some steal from them about 4 months ago I ended up not using some of the material. Even though it was past the return date already made an exception. This is what you get when you work with a small local company people who care. I will be a customer of theirs for life."

"I am not a customer, but had a different type of issue with Dixie Lumber. A lumber load was delivered for a house they are building across the street from mine. When informing the delivery driver that I could not have my driveway blocked, or if they could park somewhere else besides directly in the middle of the street, because of an elderly lady with dementia I take care of in my home, they couldn't care less. When calling Dixie Lumber for their help, they just told me to call the police. I would absolutely agree with all of the reviews that this business is rude, to the point of actually being a problem in the community. Please be wary of how you do business with them."

"I went to Home Depot to get some 1x4’s. I found 4 out of the whole bunch that I could use to make these benches, that is Four! Out of the whole bunch that was not warped, rotted, wholes, just bad. I needed 40. I was at a loss and a friend recommended Dixie Lumber and I met Ron Stewart. He took care of me in a few seconds and I was home building. I thought that place was only for professionals but found they would even except this City boy doing a weekend project, saved my day!"
