"Ok so stereotyping and discrimination a BIG NO NO especially at a place of business right.?? So why is it that although I spend money at these places literally everyday weather it's just $1 or 20 I spend $ here so how is it even remotely ok for them to embarrass the heck outta a person by telling them when they walk in that their purse is "too big" and needs to be left in the front of the store..... As if I be stealing from them or something like what the heck kind of customer service is that.??!?! So basically guilty no matter what and that's just ok.???!?!?! Where the heck is the respect/loyalty I be giving everytime I go into this place and purchase things.??!? Ugh SMH"

"Management in the store needs a serious training course in customer service. This afternoon I stopped in to shop around as I had a couple hours to burn on the opposite side of town not many places to go or things to do. I went in and a tank top and tight jeans and my wallet left my purse and everything else in the car, after I had been there shopping around for 15 minutes or so the cashier comes and tells me " I don't think you're stealing at all, but my manager had just called me and asked me to come tell you to leave the store" after I said like what are you serious I don't have a bag or anything you can clearly see if I have anything in my pocket ,.. he then said I know it's not me it's my manager I don't think you're stealing or anything I asked if I could purchase the items I already had so my trip there was not a complete waste he said yes walk me through the whole store waited as I checked out and walked me to the door as if I was some thief I cannot believe what was happening.. I did ask for the manager's name and which he replied her name was Marisol. Any potential customers do yourself a favor and go to the Family Dollar down the street off of Valencia and 6th I'm much more welcoming environment, cleaner store and way better customer service. And any upper management at this Family Dollar on 12th you should really consider training your employees and managers in a refresh course of customer service because this was a fine line that could potentially be considered slander."

"Messy store, and the lines were long, and also when I came to checkout there was no cashback on debits making it go down to one star, sad to see this store go under, but customer service like that now I see why"

"I do believe the cashiers name was Teresa. She was so patient and kind to the woman in front of me in line even though they were rude and expecting her to break store policy just for them. I was appalled by the way they treated her! The second lady had her ring the stuff up knowing she was just going to leave it behind. I am so amazed by how Theresa treated those cold woman. I myself wouldn't of been able to do that!"
