"Amazing atmosphere! It's worth stopping by just for the setting. As other reviews state, the music is very loud. Props to the live DJ though, we loved his 2000s club hits. I ordered the chilaquiles, which were very flavorful with a rich and roasted rojo sauce. It's not something I would necessarily purchase again, but it was worth the try. The other meals were enjoyable, and we ordered a Valentine's drink, which was as beautiful as it was delicious. Took quite a while for our food to arrive, but we did not mind!"
"I've heard so many raving reviews about this restaurant, so I had to try it. It was good, but not as extraordinary as I expected. It's a cute and trendy place. The servings are big, which is great. Nice variety of egg dishes and sweet stuff. They have plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options, including GF pancakes and waffles (which I didn't try). I wasn't impressed with their hash potatoes, which seems to be their specialty (?). They may have been made fresh, but they were more like frozen diced potatoes from a bag with added seasoning and peppers. Not bad, but not great. I expected better. My veggie omelette was excellent, but they had trouble with the no cheese request. The first omelette came out, and they confirmed no cheese. But upon inspection, I saw creamy, stringy goodness inside, which looked like cheese. I asked again to confirm. The server confirmed with the cook that no cheese was added. It was only onions. Then I took a bite. Clearly there was cheese inside. I was certain by taste and further inspection. Yes, there were onions, but it couldn't have been mistaken for cheese. They had to have seen the cheese, but no apologies or concern for the error. I asked for another one to be made, which was great and done correctly without cheese. It was just very odd that they were certain, yet totally wrong at first. I'm thankful that I'm not allergic, only intolerant. Perhaps there was a switch or something in the kitchen. For people with severe issues, this could have been worse. I would have appreciated at least someone accepting responsibility. But no. My friend loved her French toast, which looks way bigger in person than the photo. I may try it again, but I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed as I hoped to be."
"My daughter was leaving for college and we wanted to have a last dinner together. I work weekend evenings, so we needed somewhere on a Sunday morning that fit our occasion. I knew Hash Kitchen was the spot. The atmosphere fell right in line with celebration (and something she would love at 18) and the food was exceptional, as always!! Our server was on point with detailed knowledge of the menu, suggestions and awareness of how the menu had changed from our last visit. I work in hospitality and it’s hard to knock my socks off, but dang! I love Hash Kitchen! Excellence from the hostess greet, to the server promptness and the food being top notch. So glad to have this addition so close to home right here in neighborhood Gilbert. Keep rocking it guys! Exceptional."
"Great, abundant food. Great Bloody Mary bar; you can’t bear hearts of palm and roasted tomatoes. Nice space as well. I had the chicken tinga omelette, which was delicious."
"Finally went here after hearing so much about it! Wow walking in, it felt like a party atmosphere hit us. The music was pretty loud, as there’s a live DJ (which was super cool to see, just loud) we sat outside to dampen the sound, which helped a bit. Autumn was our server, she did really great and was kind and fun. She gave great recommendations- the kiwi mimosa was delicious! She was attentive to our table and was an overall great server! Food was pretty good, hubs liked his chicken and waffles. He was pleasantly surprised and the kick the chicken batter had. We got the billionaire bacon to share (yum!) and I got the sweet corn tamales cake Benedict, which was overall good- the flavor was fantastic though I wasn’t expecting the hot cakes to be slightly underdone, I wasn’t able to eat everything in one go. The texture wasn’t what I was expecting. But that’s just personal preference. Overall food 4 stars cause it was definitely good-just not out of this world this time Service an easy 5 stars for Autumn Atmosphere 4 stars knocking one for the music being too loud but the party vibe overall was very cool. Definitely will be coming back here with friends and ordering other menu items that looked great (menu was huge!)"
