"Awesome place! Spoke with the owner who took our order and she told us all about the authenticity and care that goes into the food. She told us that most of the ingredients for the ramen is sourced from Japan. Sushi rolls have a very generous amount of meat in them and are priced fair. Will come again! Always happy to support a local business."
"Had donkotsu ramen and takoyaki. Takoyaki was deep fried and crispy. Ramen looked great and tasted okay. Good for price, overall. Patio furniture for indoor dining is a questionable choice…"
"I started off with Gyoza, and was not the best, I’ve had better. I then ate the Philadelphia roll, was very good would order it again if I were ever to come back but likely I will not. (I didn’t take photos of those). As entree we ordered the chicken ramen (first pic) Tonkotsu Ramen (second pic) as they were recommend. They looked good, but they had absolutely no flavor. The broth seemed water down for both. The chicken was good, and eggs were okay, other than that, would not reorder nor come back. Nothing spectacular, everything was bland."
"First walked in. We were greeted by the owners wife, who was very kind and helpful to pick the ramen that was best for us. The prices are very reasonable compared to other Ramen places. There is no waiting service, so you either get it Togo, or you can sit down at any open table, which makes it very nice. The food itself was excellent, very good and filling. The atmosphere of the place is very nice definitely will be back again."
"Sushi, ramen, no. Big no to the ramen and sashimi in particular.⁸ This place is tucked off the beaten path in Gilbert, usually that means a hidden gem, but that was the polar opposite our experience. We ordered appetizers, sushi, sashimi, and the "tonkatsu" ramen. The appetizers and sushi were solidly ok, inoffensive, mostly harmless. Nothing special but decent. The ramen was a nightmare. We were looking for that creamy porky rich tonkatsu broth, we got oily watery oddly sour tasting broth that we couldn't eat. The noodles were ok but had a sour after taste due to soaking in the broth. The eggs were decent and soft, and the mushrooms and corn were rubbery and tasted like they came out of a can. If you stopped by the grocery store and only had pocket change and a vague idea of what ramen is you might end up with something like this. The staff was kind enough to refund our ramen after they noticed the un eaten bowls, asked how it was, and we told them about the sour smell/taste The sashimi I mention last because we had to ask about it 30 minutes after we were done with everything else. It was still cold and the core was icy (frozen icy) and also had a sour taste. My spouse tried one piece and said it tasted off, it didnt smell but when I tried a piece it was again oddly sour. We didnt eat more. We were told it was a super busy night but while we were there there were 3 online orders and 4 tables (which is less than half its capacity) so I'd say avoid entirely but if your desperate avoid even more if its above 1/4th capacity. The last thing is the restaurant itself, it looks cool and has some cool murals, but the tables are slotted and not level. The person who came up with rocking tables with slots while eating soups, sauces, and thin cut food was a machiavellian genius. Don't move quickly, stand stand up, or put your food down with any speed or your going to have broth/soy sauce/fish on your pants or your feet."
