Rubio's Coastal Grill 884 West Warner Road, Gilbert, AZ 85233

"Came in for taco Tuesday, I ordered chicken tacos. The chicken was so dark and burned that I thought they messed up the order and gave me beef. They assured me is was in fact chicken. I also ordered a “side” of rice. To my surprise is came inside of a tiny salsa cup. I went back up to the counter and asked “ hey does all your sides of rice come in a salsa cup?” They said that is wasn’t a salsa cup…. You look at my photo and be the judge for yourselves. Worst $2.50 I have ever spent for 3 bites of rice. Not to mention they had one person running the front who also had to do all the online and to go orders so he gave no attention to the 5 people standing in line waiting to place an order. Took almost 10 mins to place my order. I don’t really leave reviews at all. This is just my honest feedback. Very disappointing."

"There’s something wrong at this location. Last night my salad was missing ingredients and about 90% lettuce. The previous time I was there, they were out of the usual rice and substituted rice that was undercooked and crunchy in my California bowl. I will be going to other locations from now on."

"I love Rubio's, but today hit different. I had weird fibers in my side of citrus rice. Almost looks like cardboard got into the cooker. Sent a request to corporate, hopefully this gets resolved. If it does, this review will change."

"I have always love rubios steak with Avacado tacos. After a year of not being near a rubios. I ordered from the rubios near my work. I was very disappointed. The avacado slices were smaller than a year ago. And the steak was burnt (blackened) and very dry. I was able to eat it but it wasn’t not as pleasant as I had to remove many bits of unedible steak chunks from my mouth. For the price of this meal this was unacceptable. I will not be returning after I feel like I wasted my money."
