Playa Bowls

"I loved it so much we ate there twice on our 3 day trip!!! I’ve eaten at several açaí places but they seem to have it down to a perfect science of freshness, flavor options, taste, and efficiency!! Their coconut base is my favorite and I add a 1/3 or açaí to mix it in. The granola on top and bottom add to the crunch in every bite. Truly perfection! only wish my state had the franchise here in UT!! Well done NJ!!"

"The servers here are friendly...the acai is pretty good. The granola is a bit sugary and green base for the smoothie bowl isn't as tasty as I wished, but the banana, honey and strawberry top was on point and so was the acai. The place is nice to hang out and talk with some friends for 20 or 30 minutes. It's a little bit of a busy road around here...so not the best for walking around..."

"I ordered a juice and a bowl with pitaya and coconut base. Granola and banana is standard. The bowl itself was not good. The coconut base was very icy in texture contrasting with the smooth pitaya. As I ate it my tongue starting tingling and I asked the girl at the counter for the Ingredients in the base. I wondered if there was an allergen but she assured me it was just pitaya and coconut milk. It was only until I found a blueberry in my bowl (that had no blueberries listed on the menu) that I realized what was wrong. I’m allergic to blueberries and the granola (although NOT listed) has blueberries in the flax. I tried to get a refund but the vacationing owner would not allow it. They replaced the bowl without the granola so now it’s literally just a smoothie with banana in a bowl. Ridiculous! Customer service could use some work too I won’t go back."

"This place was so good! I got an açaí bowl, my wife got a pataya bowl, and my daughter got a smoothy. My açaí bowl was amazing. Blueberries were fat buggers and had intense blueberry taste. Strawberries were juicy, and the granola was perfect and crunchy. Slathered in honey, the whole bowl was perfect! Totally refreshing and delicious. My wife loved her bowl and my daughter loved her smoothie. The inside was super clean and inviting, staff was friendly and efficient, and prices were reasonable. I’d be going here all the time if I lived close!"

"The next go to for your smoothies/shakes/oats/açaí bowls! This was recommended to me by my sister (had it in New York)! We order a few items. The Pacific Bowl was really good! The granola was tasty and fruit tasted fresh. The base was kale and you couldn’t even taste the normal kale taste. Great for getting your veggies and keeping the sugars lower than other menu items. For the pricing, these are pretty average and I believe the serving is slightly larger than other places! The ambiance was cute, beachy, and laid back. Great place for a quick stop in, hanging with family/friends, or a casual place to go and hang out. The service was okay. I am not sure if all three girls just were having a difficult day, but it showed. My sister asked for the gluten free granola option and when we got the order, we wanted to confirm it was the GF granola on top because she is allergic. The response was met with slight attitude and felt like an inconvenience. Other than that, service was okay."
