"One of the best sushi place in the tempe. For beginners like me, you can try Sushi tower (serves 2-3) It Served with: ginger salads, miso soups, edamame appetizer, veggie tempura appetizer, spicy tuna roll, baked salmon roll, cali roll and 3 orders of your choice of nigiri (excludes specialty, salmon roe)"
"I'm so happy to find this place! Best Sushi I have been to in Arizona, hands down. I've lived in Hawaii and been to Japan. The quality of food and freshness is as good or better than I've had there. Truly something for everyone on their menu. You can tell they go through great pains to get the best ingredients to use in their time-tested authentic recipes. If you're looking for the best Japanese food in Arizona, look no further. This is the place! The environment is very clean and friendly plus there are plenty of TVs for the sports enthusiasts. Another great thing is I noticed that under their bar they have outlets so if you're Cellphone is low you have a place to get a charg while you eat. Take my advice and stop in like me. I'm sure it will become your new local favorite!"
"My roommate and I came here for dinner, and we were instantly welcomed in even though it was a busy night. Sterling, our server and host, was amazing and stayed on top of everything, all while keeping a great attitude, so this is how service should be! We also enjoyed the cozy booth and holiday decor (it was December, so they had decorations up), and were excited to see happy hour was every day. I was happy to see so many vegan options on the menu, but the vegan ramen that I ordered was a little bland and underwhelming, which disappointed me after the great welcome and intro we had to the place. Maybe I need to order something different next time, but since I now know that there are not one but TWO happy hours every day, I'll definitely consider coming back and giving the food another try. It was a fun place to hang out in either way."
"I got this for $30. Extremely expensive for the smallest pieces. Everyone used to talk really good about it last year and I came in for pick up yesterday. The food is good just way over price for the quality and quantity."
"Good: Very clean restrooms. I never eat at restaurants a second time that have bad or poor restrooms. It was very clean, almost immaculate looking. I enjoyed my dessert after having a couple drinks. It was good. I've eaten at this place prior before yesterday, and they do have some really good sushi options. The restaurant atmosphere is relaxing. Bad: I ordered an item that was supposed to have "steamed rice". It came out cold, and I let the waiter know the rice was cold and asked for warm rice. Another server, probably her senior/lead, came and said this dish had sushi rice. I had to literally show this waiter, using the menu itself, that the menu showed this eel dish had "steamed rice", not sushi rice; that was the tuna dish below it on the menu; how does he not know that? Then, when the dish came back the rice was more lukewarm than actually hot or steamed. I just ate it though at that point because I was hungry, I was getting tipsy, but it wasn't satisfying. I ordered a dessert which was great, but I got charged $12 dollars for it. The menu clearly had it at $10 dollars. I had to point this out to the senior/lead there and he said, "I've always known it to be $12 but I'm very sorry I'll discount it for you". Let me get this straight, you guys are regularly charging people $12 dollars for an item on the menu that CLEARLY says it's $10 dollars? Bro... Mediocre: I ordered two Cuba Libres (Coke & Rum) and requested more Coke than Rum in the drink. The first one had a little more rum than I wanted, but it was still okay, but the second one came back and it had a lot more rum than I wanted. I'm giving this place a 3 because my latest experience wasn't poor, but it wasn't good. I give this location a C+ for food. 2nd Review: I came back to this restaurant again since I always eat at restaurants I know have clean restrooms, and this place has their restrooms practically immaculate looking. I ordered during happy hour some drinks and sushi and took it outside. I enjoyed my food this time, the sushi and such. I'll probably avoid ordering the fried rice since it's just okay, but I'm curious to try other stuff I haven't tried. I was grateful that one of the male staff saw the sun was hitting me and moved one of the shades to shield me from the sun. I do appreciate that. Improved food experience. I do believe I will return for another time."
