Hot N Juicy Crawfish 7000 East Mayo Boulevard, Phoenix, AZ 85054

"I went there with my family for lunch on Saturday. The waiter, Trinity, was nice and friendly. I ordered 1 lb of green muscles. I was surprised that the muscles in the bag was tasteless and very little sauce was added. We couldn't even taste the sauce on the muscle meat. I asked the waiter if they can add little sauce and she told me that they can not because they add only a measured portion of sauce and if I need more they will charge me extra $2.5. I told her but I can't eat it like that, it is dry when it suppose to be juicy. She said will talk to the manager to see if she can do something about it. Then the manager confirmed that they can't add more sauce unless they charge me. Then she said if you don't want it I can take it back and take it of your bill. I told her no just leave it that is ok it is my fault that I chose to come here. But frankly I was really upset not because of money but I didn't digest the concept. I like hot N Juicy but this experience will make me think twice before I go to this location on Mayo Blvd."

"Big shout out to Vivian for making my family of four generations dinner spectacular. She offered to take photos for use and was nice and helpful throughout the meal. Everyone in my family walked out talking about how good the food was and how much fun they had, all thanks to Vivian. Will go back again."

"Today we were in a restaurant for the first time, we ordered a "Juicy experience" for $34 to take away. We love crawfish with corn and potatoes, I still remember our trip to Louisiana.. but today I was completely disappointed. The food is not tasty. But that’s not even the main thing. The crayfish and shrimp were stale, the meat was loose and unpleasant, the corn was overcooked and soft like porridge. Shrimp with black sides, and even potatoes that are dark inside and taste bad. The only decent ones were the sausages, but I'm not too excited to try a cheap sausage for $40 (34 + tax and tip). I’m completely disappointed and I hope I don’t get poisoned by trying this stale seafood. I would like to get my money back, but I have no idea how to do it, it was a take-out order."

"Update: 10/2/2023. Yea I tried to give the spot one last try because I loved the restaurant that much and a huge fan of seafood boil but nope; this is the last time I’ll try this location. The food sent me to the bathroom this time. Idk if it’s because I ordered so late but again, lack of flavor and thickness in the sauce. Sauce basically looked like doodoo water. Tried adding a video of how watery the sauce was with barely any seasonings n lack of garlic but for some reason, it wasn’t letting me. Idk what went wrong with this location but something or someone definitely changed. I just knew I shouldn’t have tried it again. I’ll see if the other locations are any better. ——————————————————————— I’m honestly getting tired of feeling like I’m wasting my money ordering takeout from here. I just ordered tonight and I am so disappointed, yet again. The bag barely has any sauce and the sauce is also so light & watery like watered down sauce, and it barely has any good flavor; the rice I ordered was also very mushy. The sauce used to be chunkier and more flavorful. This is the 3rd time I’ve been disappointed with how the food taste. This place used to be my favorite seafood boil spot because of the flavor. Idk if they changed the chef but it has gone downhill for me. Idk if I’ll ever order again. I only rated it 2 stars because the corn was good."

"Why was my review deleted... I had it as 2 stars, but I am going to put 1 star because my review was removed! I love Hot and Juicy. However, we had a bad experience in this branch, where we were getting some food very late, and had to remind the server couple times. Note, it was not because they were busy. The food was not prepared properly, and it wasn't fresh. We had several orders of the hot and juicy median heat sauce with shrimp and mussels. They had enough heat, but did not have much of the usual hot and juicy signature taste. Did I mention the seafood was not fresh. We also order the chicken wings with fries. The fries were not crunchy at all. I believe they cooked the fries with a timer, but since they were not busy, the oil wasn't hot yet. So the fries just look like soft oily potatoes. The chicken wings were the best part of the meal, for a seafood place."
