BIG BITES Restaurant

"This is a trashy Mexican restaurant trying to fool the gringos. It's all the same disgusting food from the market in the same shopping center. Got the shots from the beef and the rice was over cooked. Terrible service for gringos."

"Got the Asian ribs with seasoned fries and corn, bbq boneless wings and Mac and cheese. Ribs were fatty and some pieces were like jerky. Boneless wings were swimming in sauce so very very wet. Mac and cheese was definitely store bought. Only positive is the atmosphere was good with the outdoor cooker and the fries and corn were good. Could of been an off day but won't recommend what I got"

"This place was better than expected! Would reccomend. Was looking for a quick bite to eat and came across this gem. Surprised it wasn't busier than this! Once he mentioned they grind their meat in house I was sold on a burger. The salsa bar was on point too. I've never seen a salsa bar offer queso before. Just set a new standard for me. Will definitely be coming back."

"Great little independent food joint. Variety of the menu is very nice: burgers, hot dogs, chicken...sandwiches/wings...and BBQ Ribs with "fall off the bone" meat... I think they are pork, not beef. Home made BBQ sauces they were so good I had to take some home. They don't actually "sell" the sauce as such so I gave them $3.00 to fill a cup! The atmosphere is fun! Colorful! The dining area is clean as are the restrooms. All in all a very fortunate and unexpected find that's not too far from my home. I Will be back! ============= Update Sat 1/20/2024 This is my 3rd visit (I TOLD you I would be back!) I wish I could post a review of the other menu items...but the truth is, the Rib Special is the only item I've eaten here! So... Just to let you know: Still Delicious...!"

"The tacos were delicious because I got to put what I wanted on each of my tacos.. The salsa bar was great. Kinda hard to do if you get the food to go because you have to use the small plastic containers for each salsa and pico and cabbage exedra.. You can choose flour or corn tortillas also. My BF prefers the taco to be covered in pico and cabbage so he can add the lime and salsa. Everyone is different.. He also tried the Hot dog wrapped in bacon and green chilies and loved it..like a Sonoran dog but called something else. The Sweet potato fries were awful.. Dark like burt but greasy and soft like they'd just been sitting in old oil. I would like to go back and try more things but won't be ordering sweet potato fries again. Tacos are 4 bucks each so you can always order a taco and try something else. They serve bottles of Beer and Cola. And also have a fountain drink station. They have ice cream bars in a cold freezer at the counter and flan for dessert."
