"If youre looking for a truly authentic restaurant, you have come to the right place. Tony's is celebrating their 55 anniversary this year! Quite the achievment and shows how beloved it is in the community. The atmosphere is so cute. Nonpublic restroom FYI. A few small patio tables for dining outside, otherwise take it to go! Now to the review... We got two sandwiches. Two sides. and 3 cannolis. Sandwiches: Bread is homemade and 10/10. Meat is thinly shaved and great meat. Cheese and lettuce included. Extras are mustard, mayo, tomato, oil and vinigar. overall it was a 9/10. The bread won big points for me. The sauces were minimal and not overpowering too, more points. We orderes the Full Hot Turkey and Full Hot Pastrami sandwiches. less than 9 for a full sub can't be beaten. Large sides of macceroni salad for around $4! The macceroni salad was good, but thin with a mild flavor. If you like think chuncky macceroni salad then its not for you. That being said, I prefer the thinner flavor. 8/10 for me. And the winner is:Chocolate Cannoli. The cannolis are hand made fresh, shells and all. They are think and creamy and sweet. The vanilla was an 8/10 BUT the chocolate is a solid 10/10. Best Cannoli I have ever eaten. I'll be back to Tony's when I'm in the area."

"Under the Sonoran sun...lies this little Italian gem. Store is clean, organized, and brimming with product. I'm sure any Italian food product you could want can be found inside. Temperature inside is nice and the parking lot can be a little busy. There's a patio with a few tables which is nice if you're stopping for lunch. Beautiful foliage adorns the patio, very peaceful. The owners are very friendly and sweet and practice proper food handling. I ordered a large Italian sub and everything was fresh and tasty. It even came in a plastic sub bag which I greatly appreciated for easier eating and storage. Definitely worth the price. On my next visit, I'd like to try another kind of sandwich or possibly a pasta dish. Thank you Tony's! I look forward to visiting again soon."

"We had their roast beef sandwich and their Italian Special. While the meat was good quality and thinly sliced, the sandwiches were uninspired. There was a very limited choice of bread and the Italian Special wasn't very special. They could have added some onion, more vegetables, and additional oil and vinegar to liven up the sandwich. Jersey Mike's or Firehouse serves sandwiches better. I will give them credit for being a well stocked Italian market with many choices of dry pasta, sauces, olives, etc."

"Amazing find! I didn't realize places like this even existed in Phoenix! Super authentic old school Italian market and deli with great ready made entrees, sandwiches and everything you need to make pretty much any classic Italian dish you can name. The place is run by an adorable old couple and their family, the prices are great (especially when you consider that most of their inventory is imported) and the food is amazing! Definitely my new favorite local business."
