"As the name would lead you to believe; This restaurant is a house, located on Gilbert Street. I'm unfamiliar with the history that brought a residence into the folds of breakfast establishments, however whatever the journey is was worth it. The food is wonderful and it has the aire of seen many fulfilled customers. The (massive) cinnamon rolls are a fan favorite. Parking is close but limited, if during a rush I could imagine it being a challenge to park."
"I had a business breakfast here today. The rain last night made it cool enough to eat outside at 7:30 this morning. To use my wife’s terminology, it was “quaint, cozy, and cute.” The patio was very clean, and the interior of the restaurant was very clean and had really warm decor. The service was really good. The owner visited with us for a bit, and she was so informative and friendly. The only thing better than the friendliness and customer service was the food. The French toast was divine. The bacon was the really good bacon that you only hear about in movies or see in dreams. I will definitely be back monthly. This is one of my new favorite spots."
"This is such a darling little gem of a place. I have driven by this place 100 times and was always intrigued by it. We finally met for lunch there and was so pleasantly surprised by it’s charm and tastiness. The cinnamon roll was slightly undercooked with a heaping dollop of butter in the center-just the way I like it! The chicken salad was very good. The BLT looked delicious. The roasted tomato salad was apparently very good. The rhubarb muffin was steaming hot and very tasty. I will plan on making this a regular lunch spot."
"Cute little place for breakfast and early lunch! The place was not crowded on a weekday at 11 o’clock. They have sittings both inside and outside , however , no one want to sit outside in this Arizona heat even if the sitting is covered. I ordered some walnut pancake which was very delicious, the portion was huge , two big pancakes with caramelized walnut , banana and some syrup, as well as some butter on top. I was not able to eat it all, so I took the rest for to-go. The box was kinda small, it can’t fit much of the food. Even if they close at 1.30, I guess they stop taking orders earlier , I am not sure, but we were done eating and although it was not even 1 o’clock, they started cleaning and we felt like we were kinda pushed to leave , they did not say anything to us, me and my friends, but we could all tell by the way the server acted. Maybe it’s good to visit when they open to have a more enjoyable experience without feeling any pressure. Also, there is some parking in the sides of the building , it was easy to park but it might be an issue during the busy hours."
"How did I never know this was here?! So glad to have discovered this cute little gem today. It’s a house converted into a restaurant - quaint, cozy, and a perfect way to support small local business. We had the biscuits and gravy, green chili omelette, patty melt, and took home one of each of their rolls (cinnamon and caramel). The biscuits were amazing but the gravy was just alright and didn’t seem homemade. The patty melt was super good - the bread was some of the best I’ve had, the ratio of bread to meat to onions and cheese were all perfect. I do wish it had a thousand island or some kind of sauce to bring it all together - that would’ve taken it from super good to phenomenal. The omelette and hash browns were some of the best I’ve had. Reheated the rolls at home and they were a bit bready but really good also :) Overall I’d go back and would definitely recommend! It was also peak brunch hours on a Sunday and there was only a very short 5m wait for a table."
