"Cucumber vip was atuffed full of fish, was delicious and really good priced. The woman at the front was very kind and efficient. At rhe time of my visit, they offered a percent discount for cash payment. Ithwy have a ehite board where they write additional items and current promotionals. Am looking forward to returning for their great priced lunch special."
"Jenny was amazing! The food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the stuffed avocado appetizer...it's jalapeno but it's FANTASTIC."
"The food is just so nice to just look at, let alone let go down my throat. We got the Puzzle Roll and teppanyaki, both of which were great. We also asked for some extra spicy mayo, which was presented as the gloppiest big ol glop of spicy mayo that was very mucb appreciated."
"This place has the bones to be a good thing but execution falls short. The ingredients are really fresh but the combinations they've put together don't work. And the sauces they use taste slightly off, sub par, from the standard (e.g. eel sauce, spicy mayo). The service was top notch, very attentive and pleasant. The stuffed jalapeño utilizes a heavier breading than your typical stuffed jalapeño. It reminded me of Italian Breadcrumbs and had the same crunch as a fried mozzarella stick. The sashimi is nice and thick and tastes very fresh. The price of the rolls is high but they use a lot of fish in each roll which helps to justify the price. Unfortunately, the rolls themselves did not taste the best. We ended up dissecting the rolls and just eating the fish."
"I got very worried when we walked into this place and it was empty. Also got nervous from the "cash discount" signs and the "ask us how to get a free dessert" signs which seemed like an obvious "give us a good review in exchange for a dessert" move. We didn't have dessert. We did have a rather spectacular set of appetizers: spring rolls and garlic parmesan edamame. The edamame was like crack. Highly recommended. The sushi was off the charts. Usually when we do sushi, we get an assortment of rolls and just share each other's plates when they show up. They brought them all out together, beautifully arranged on a large lazy Susan platter. Everything was spectacular. This place was a tiny hole in the wall, but totally blew away my expectations."
