"How often does one get a $5 pulled pork sandwich ( a good one at that) WITH chips and drink anymore?"
"Terrible experience. Accidentally placed a take out order for the location closest to me and it sent me to a different location. The manager refused to give me a refund even though the location I went to said they would because my food had already been made. I work in customer service and mistakes happen, it’s up to the business to do what’s right for the customer in this situation. The manager was very rude and yelled “next time select the right location!” Definitely not the right way to do business. Will never go to that location. At least the gentleman at the Glendale location was kind and understanding."
"The ribs were cooked to perfection. The coleslaw could have had more dressing on it and more flavor. Very bland. Also, ribs should always have a cup of sauce for dipping on the side."
"I had 1/2 rack of ribs. Very good. Serving size was good value. The place is set up for dining in but really better for take out. A minus in my world is there are no adult beverages."
"I had been to this place back in 2011 (the last time I was in the area). I chose this location as it was the closest to me (21 miles) but I wanted something a little different. Did not disappoint in terms of side dishes. The area is a lot more built up since I was last here and much busier but worth the drive. The Texas toast and peach cobbler is were outstanding; perfectly toasted bread with just the right amount of butter. The cobbler was perfection, not too sweet and not tart; another perfect Southern treat. Haven’t tried the smoked wings yet but they smell awesome. The sweet tea is that good old fashioned down home Southern tea that makes you go into a diabetic coma."
