"The new renovations are nice enough and the barter was friendly and timely. If you aren't going for karaoke then I'm sure you will be just fine They had a new karaoke company. I get what happened with the last guy but I went in a few nights ago to sing and I was there over an hour and watched the karaoke guys friends go up multiple times without singing. I wasn't worked in at all. Saw the end of the rotation and still wasn't called. I left without singing at all. I'm pretty sure it's the same company that does Bridget's LL. That explains a lot. Until they get new karaoke I won't be back. I already didn't like karaoke at Bridget's for the same reason but wanted to give this place a shot since it is my neighborhood spot closest to my house. Unfortunately the karaoke met my expectations"

"The renovations by the new management are nice, and the food is above average; but this establishment is perpetually understaffed, and the staff is constantly turning over. If you're not at the bar and/or you aren't friends with the current bartender, you'll have to wait a long time for service. Given all of the nearby competition, I can't imagine this place will last more than a year unless they can fix their staffing and turnover issues."

"Foods good. Thanks Rob! Madison was cool, but is no longer there. Apparently they have a very high turn over now that the new owners have taken over. They can't seem to keep any good bartenders. Karaoke never starts on time."

"I have to edit my review, as it has changed since the last time I was here. We used to come here for karaoke all the time. The food was great, it was always our favorite dive bar to occupy. We kinda went away for a while and came back to a newly renovated place. But I didn’t know any of the new customers. These were all new people. One thing I have to say is, Rob is a GREAT cook. So thank you Rob After a couple visits under the newer ownership, I don’t think we’ll be returning here. It’s a completely different vibe, and for the worse. It’s very clear that these owners have never owned a business before let alone a bar restaurant. It feels like they were bored one day and said “let’s buy a bar.” All of the good bartenders are gone, and I’ve seen a few one time but not again. Which shows me that either they don’t want a job or the owners don’t want them. But my impression is of the latter. Also can I say that it’s not a really good image when one of the owners shows up loaded and acting not so professional. Do better."
