"Never ate there before, but I saw they made fried okra and decided to go. Their okra is really yummy and they give a huge amount for the side. The brisket was really good, and the chicken was juicy and tender. I'm glad I went here. It made me happy to eat food that I miss from the south. And their sweet tea is really sweet tea."

"Was pretty disappointed with this joint. Came in for lunch and ordered the giant baked potato with pulled pork- the potatoes were cooked nicely- soft and fluffy all the way through but was missing the bacon and no sour cream, just overall mediocre as far as loaded baked potatoes go- the pulled pork seemed stale, not tender or soft but sort of stiff at the ends like it was old. Just not very tasty like I had imagined when I ordered. To add to the experience my table was sticky with something that had spilt and not been cleaned and there were sticky cup rings from previous customers that sat there the day before. Dry sticky cup rings where my arms rested on the wooden table. Lots of flies buzzing around and other little bugs crawling around the table. Would not recommend based on my experience."
