"I ordered the Margarita pizza and it was tasty but mostly crust and very little cheese and one piece of basil. The pizza itself was small. I come here often when I visit but I was very disappointed. I had an early dinner so most seats were empty. I heard the bell ring and I probably got my pizza 10 minutes later. I have been coming here for years and felt that it was different from other places for price, quality and quantity but that has changed."
"The pizza was amazing. Authentic Italian. Fresh ingredients. The cannoli and tiramisu were perfection. We will definitely be back!"
"The service and passion behind the scenes here is unmatched. The highest quality produce is used in every single dish made at Fratelli and you can taste it. Real authentic Italian food is hard to come by in America but all ingredients come directly from Italy so the food doesn’t make you feel icky after eating an entire pizza by yourself. I can tell they use top quality ingredients and liquor in their drinks too. The best martinis (and I don’t like martinis usually) and the BEST espresso martini I’ve ever had. If you like spicy the Diavola pizza is amazing!!"
"Friday night and wasn't feeling like fine dining or dressing up for any occasion. Felt more like a pizza night so we decided on Fratelli La Bufala. I hadn't been in a while and knew the food was good. We sat at the bar as it was a little more casual. The bartender likes to engage in some banter and that's always fun. We ordered an Italian red wine to start and an appetizer. Scugnizzielli. I've not tried fried pizza sticks but thought it would be a good start. There was enough to share and we did with some others sitting at the bar that had never tried them either. A Mista Salad as well (gotta have something healthy) and the specialty pizza - Tartufata. What a great selection and combo. We topped off the evening with their special Apple pastry which was made with fresh glazed pastry shell and thin sliced apples and a scoop of gelato. YUM! Everything is reasonably priced so makes for a great date night. Definitely recommend Fratelli La Bufala. Centrally located in Scottsdale and a fun night out."
"A Slice of Italy in Scottsdale - Fratelli La Bufala Rating: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars Best In Dough - Digital Episode #101 by Mychael Parker From the moment we stepped into Fratelli La Bufala in Scottsdale, Arizona, my wife and I were transported straight to Italy. The restaurant's ambiance, with its warm lighting and rustic decor, exuded a classic Italian charm that was both welcoming and comforting. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and an eagerness to serve, making us feel like we were not just customers but guests in their home. Their hospitality left an indelible first impression on us. Our gastronomic journey began with the pizza, which was nothing short of a masterpiece. The crust (Scottsdale winner "Best In Dough" had that perfect balance - crisp on the outside, tender and chewy on the inside. Each bite of the pizza was a delightful crunch followed by a burst of flavor from the fresh toppings. We savored the Margherita pizza, adorned with vibrant San Marzano tomatoes, creamy mozzarella (imported from Italy ) , and aromatic basil leaves. It tasted just like the pizzas we had in Naples, bringing back fond memories of our Italian heritage. What stood out was the authenticity of the entire dining experience. The waitstaff, with their Italian accents and knowledge about the food, added to the overall charm. Their passion for their culture was evident in the way they talked about the ingredients and the preparation process. Another notable aspect was the restaurant's commitment to keeping things authentically Italian, from the imported ingredients to the traditional preparation methods. This dedication to authenticity was clearly reflected in the taste of the food. In conclusion, Fratelli La Bufala is more than just a restaurant - it's an experience. It's a place where you can enjoy true Italian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The combination of delicious food, friendly staff, and authentic Italian ambiance sets the bar high for other pizza places in town. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and a great dining experience. Whether you're a pizza connoisseur or someone looking for a taste of Italy in Scottsdale, Fratelli La Bufala is a must-visit. Not only will you be treated to some of the best pizzas in town, but you'll also get to experience Italian hospitality at its finest. Fratelli La Bufala, thank you for giving us a little taste of Italy right here in Arizona. We can't wait to come back for more! Watch Season 1 of Best In Dough on Hulu"
