"This used to be one of my favorite places at Desert Ridge, but the standard has dropped so low. They were out of rice at 7pm, more than half the tables were un-bussed, and their trash and plates were over flowing. This drop is even evident in their desserts! Who piped these like come on now!? With this standard they cannot compete in this area."

"The food at Zupas is always delicious and high-quality! And excellent service too - when I came to pick up my online order, I saw a man holding my bag and when I told him it was mine, he said "No it isn't" (even though my name was clearly on the bag) and rushed out the door. I told an employee someone took my order, and he ran out into the parking lot after the man! He wasn't able to safely retrieve it, so they remade my entire order super fast. I'm a customer for life!"

"I came in around 8:16 PM on Nov 29th 2023 with my mother and sister. My sister and I ordered 2 “try 2 combos” my mother wanted to order one as well, but they were out of chicken noodle soup and the chickpea soup. My mother ended up only ordering a sandwich. At the register, the gentleman then told us they were also out of the chocolate covered strawberries and the side bread that come with the try 2 combo. No substitutes were offered. After paying $45 dollars I realized he charged me for only 1 “2 try combo” one sandwich and two half sides. I went back to the register to get this right and they told me I have to call tomorrow to get my refund? What kind of service is this? Not to mention my mothers sandwich was cut with a dirty knife and our salads served in dirty dishes. No matter how busy it is, which they weren't, is NO excuse to serve customers food in dirty dishes. Update (12/04): While I appreciate that I eventually received a refund, the process was far from smooth. It took the intervention of two shift leaders and a call to the General Manager, Eric, to resolve the issue, spanning almost 20 minutes. I encountered resistance from a particularly ill-mannered teen shift leader with orange hair, who argued about the time limit for refunds and attempted to dispute the condition of the dirty dishes. I myself worked in the food industry as a teen and have never provided the service I received. It is worth noting that I live an hour and 30 minutes away, working in legal from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and cannot be expected to adhere to the restaurant's convenience for issue resolution. The professionalism displayed by the other shift leader was commendable, highlighting a stark contrast in the level of service provided. I have recently discovered that the gentleman who processed my order on November 29th is responsible for dish preparation. I urge Eric to review security camera footage to corroborate my claims regarding the unsatisfactory conditions in which our food was served and the subsequent resistance to issuing a refund. In conclusion, my experience at your establishment was marred by multiple issues, from food unavailability to poor hygiene and uncooperative staff. I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and undertake the necessary retraining to ensure a more positive and sanitary dining experience for your patrons in the future. "We’ve dined here frequently and this will be our last visit. Brought my pregnant wife for some lunch and saw a sign for the Cafe Zupas app. There was no line and we told the person at the counter we’d order on the app. After ordering we got a confirmation that the order would be ready in 7 minutes and that it was being prepared. After waiting 10 minutes I went in and was told they’d be starting it next (again there were almost no customers ordering at the time). After 5 more minutes I came back in and the order was still not finished. We finally got the order 12 minutes after our quoted time so we waited 20 minutes for food. No apology was offered and the staff was just talking and not caring about making orders. On top of that we got no butter for our buns and my wife’s “crispy chicken avocado chop” had one tiny piece of avocado. We won’t be back, the produce is also not as fresh as it used to be."

"Extremely Disappointing Experience I recently dined at Zupas and I must say, my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I noticed that the establishment was not as clean as I had hoped. The tables looked like they hadn't been properly wiped down, and the overall hygiene left much to be desired. To make matters worse, the fruit that was served was far from fresh. It was evident that the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes was lacking. The most disappointing part was finding out that imitation crab was being used in the lobster bisque. As a seafood lover, this was a major letdown and not what I expected from a restaurant that claims to provide quality dishes. Even the employee hygiene was noticeably poor. It's unsettling to see staff members who aren't practicing proper hygiene, especially in a food establishment. The lack of attention to cleanliness extends to the bathrooms as well, which were downright disgusting. Overall, my visit to Zupas was a regrettable experience. I left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the overall atmosphere. I hope that the management takes these issues seriously and works on improving the dining experience for their customers. Until then, I won't be returning."
