"I am not mexican so I rate from a foreign aspective. This is a cozy restaurant , food is Delicate, coffee is sweet with cinnomon taste, chip's salsa sauce is clean, food are not big amount but pretty much enough , soup has heavy flovor which my male friends like it a lot. In overall, the food is good, we did not try dessert. I would consider to go with friends again for nice and cozy food and enviroiment. But I dont have much comment for the service, its normal and simple."
"I finally had the opportunity to check out this restaurant in Phoenix and it was GREAT! The Cafe de Olla, lo mas RICO, and they food, they have fresh made tortillas, ALL was very tasty and they had lots of options to choose from. The atmosphere is good and the tables are not crowded and it feels good to be there. I would definitely recommend the coffee, chilaquiles, and enchiladas."
"Great little restaurant serving authentic Mexican cuisine. The decor has a modern look. I love the crockery they use to serve their food. Their menu features tacos, Caldos, sopes, barria, enchiladas, and Chilaqulies . The tacos Dorado (crispy) were delicious. My wife enjoyed her Dona Licha soup, served in a tin pot filled with chicken, avocado, cheese, and tortilla strips. The service was friendly and attentive we had a great experience. The restaurant needs to invest in a sign or banner, so it's more easily identified from the street we almost left before we finally found it. Please support our local businesses."
"The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. The staff is attentive as best that they can be especially when they’re very busy but they will let you know and keep you informed. They are very nice. The portions are great and their breakfast is delicious in my opinion. I would recommend"
"OMG…talk about felling you’re @ your grandma’s or Tia’s casa for authentic Mexican home cooking! I fell in love with this spot. From the moment you walk in, it smelled like “cafe de la olla” (blend of coffee boiled in cinnamon with brown sugar or piloncillo) & the decorations are a touch of Mexico. The waitresses wearing traditional Mexican attire (colors) and the food is to die for. I ordered chilaquiles verdes (but I was told you can ask for a plate that has both green & red chilaquiles) The plate was served with a reasonable portion of chilaquiles with papitas (potatoes) and frijoles refritos (refried beans). Everything was delicious. I also enjoyed watching a lady making home made corn tortillas in an area closed in. Everything was delicious & amazing! Only thing I didn’t pay attention on the menu was that if you order Cafe de la olla ($3.50 1st cup for a 4 or 6oz cup) each refill is $1.50. Worth every penny but just in case you missed that clause (on the menu). Waitress & Manager (I think was the owner) treated us exceptionally well. They’d come around frequently asking I’d we needed anything. Highly recommend & will be coming back to this amazing restaurant."
