"I placed an order through their site a few weeks ago for a to go order. I paid and they accepted my card. I drive to the restaurant and when I get there it was completely closed. They’re website and google maps advertised the restaurant as being open all day. I got there around 6:30 pm — hours before they were supposed to close. I call over and over and it went straight to voicemail. I finally left a message and haven’t heard anything for weeks. Some strange man cleaning outside stated that they were in vacation or something and that they were remodeling the place. Not sure how accurate this was but I’m not about that. I want my money back and after reading the reviews, I should’ve thought twice before ordering…"
"Definitely not a go-to place for dinner. The batter has turned sour yet they served the food and was not edible. Please do not serve food like this and spoil the Ethiopian traditional name. Would give 0 stars but no other option, so 1 star."
"What they get right: The food is fantastic. I tried the Veggie Combo and the Sambuso, 2 meat (beef) & 2 veggie (lentils), and they were very satisfying. You use this bread, that kinda looks like a pancake but with a softer texture, to pick out the items on a plate of the same bread and eat what you are craving. The tea is also enjoyable. What they get wrong: Where is the parking? If I wasn't looking for this place I might have missed it. You have to park in the back and enter the restaurant in the back. It's warm in that place. I checked the temperature, and it was 85 degrees. The lights for the bathrooms were dim. What's okay: Restrooms were not pristine but not dirty. Restaurant set up feels confusing. Results: Eat the food, especially try the Sambusos (Only $.99 cents each and they are delicious), but spare yourself the oppressive temperature inside and the lack of seating space by ordering your meal to go. And tip your server well; my server when I asked if tips go to the server or to the house said that the only get paid with tips (Isn't that illegal?)."
