"3.13.24 12pm, Anthem AZ We pulled into the drive up, we waited for some time and heard nothing. It was not busy, we thought maybe the intercom was broken and they didn't know it. We drove up to the window. Then we see a woman come in from an outside door. She grabs her headset and starts taking orders, we realize that she must have been on a smoke break. She opens the window, and before we can explain the confusion, she yells, "I ain't tak'n no orders at the window!" Before we could utter a word, she broke the stunned silence with "Yer gonna have to drive round, nobody else here knows how to take an orderand I needed abathroom break!" We just drove away speechless. Went to Taco Bell. Sent this into customer service. They sent me a $1 coupon!!! I'm still laughing. I wasn't asking for anything. To receive a $1 coupon speaks volumes about how little this company appreciates customers. UPDATE: customer service reached out, and they apologized. That's really all I wanted, an acknowledgment that they want to improve what happened. Thank you Taco Del."

"This is the absolute worst Del taco I have ever been to. I love Del Taco. I love their tacos or chili cheese fries and the strawberry lemonade. I ordered the Del tacos. They were the tiniest taco I've ever seen. I had more tortilla than anything else. The chili cheese fries were made in a weird way. Cheese was on the bottom and the sauce on the top. Never seen him made that way at a del Taco. All of the food that we ordered was similar in the fact that there was almost nothing inside of the tacos, the burritos and even a burger. Everything looked gross and had very little taste. The only thing that was good was the strawberry lemonade. Thank goodness they didn't mess that up. They need to do something about this. I see that it's a common issue here after reviewing more previous reviews."

"Driving thru AZ and so excited to stop at a Del Taco because we don’t have them where we live. Got a Del Double cheeseburger and I was so excited!! When did they start putting hot sauce on their burgers?? It was crazy spicy and the bun was so stale I took it off. Employees were having a great time which of course, is awesome to see BUT they probably should have used a few less F-bombs. Fries were good. ;)"

"Look Del Taco isn’t gourmet. We all know it and to me it’s a great place most days for a quick bite. I’ve loved Del Taco since I was a kid in Southern California. This location is tucked away near the freeway and for the most part clean and fairly quick service. Today it was great. I came pretty early in the drive thru and ordered a few red burritos. I already had a drink with me so nothing else. The girl at the window was friendly and prompt. Most importantly she gave me plenty of hot sauce. The tortillas were fresh and warm which I love. Some times certain locations suck and you can tell they’ve been sitting out way longer than they should. Vibe is bland and basic. It’s a fast food joint. Prices are still decent for this day and age. The snack tacos are perfect on taco Tuesdays ."

"Waited 6 minutes in the drive through. Ordered 2 Birria tacos for $9. They were TINY!!! And very dry and flavorless. What a complete joke and waste."
