"Who knew that a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in Safford has one of the best chimichangas in the Southwest? Safe to say, I was pleasantly surprised by Los Jilbertos, and their chimichanga scores a high 11 points on the 13 point universal scale of chimichanga deliciousness. The tortilla was excellent and perfectly fried. The beans are on the runny side, which is way better than that dry, caked mess you get at a lot of places. The cheese to beans ratio in the chimi was perfect. The lettuce and pico and guac were all fresh and delicious, and their green salsa was perfect. And on top of it all, the customer service and speed of service were phenomenal. Way to go, y’all. Five stars ALL DAY, for the food. Sometimes they mess up your order, and their communication in the kitchen could use improving. Just check your food before you go and you’ll be fine."
