"We arrived at this quaint little restaurant and it was packed with only one open table that had a reserved sign on it. Seeing that their was no place to sit we went back to our car. While we were searching for another restaurant to go to, the waitress came outside to our car to let us know they had a table for us. So we went back in. The food was amazing, real authentic Mexican food! The service was even better! Every time we go back to Douglas we will be visiting this place. The prices are way below the value of food and service! Highly, highly recommend!!!"
"There were no seats available. Sitting in out car looking for something else She walked out said she found a seat. Best food we could have hoped for. Great price, and service"
"After moving to Cochise County, I made a personal goal to try every cheese crisp in a 2 hour radius. This is it. This is the one. I have been eating cheese crisps nearly 40 years. I can’t even deal with as of writing this this spectacular specimen of cheese and tortilla, crisped to perfection, is only $4. The service is regularly awesome. The tortilla: thinner than average, which gives it an awesome light tooth. Does not seem to be “grilled” like some local cheese crisps. The cheese: I believe this is Monterey Jack and Cheddar. Salty and delicious. The dipping salsa: Free chips and salsa, and that salsa has a strong tomato flavor, no chunks, great spice, excellent companion to said cheese crisp. Please come and treat yourself to the delight of the world. Cheese crisps are for everyone. This one is for you. Chimichangas also great."
"Wow, we were impressed. We were visiting Douglas and our hosts took us here as it is supposed to be the best authentic Mexican food in the city. No arguments from us. Everything was amazing, fresh, and so reasonable in price as opposed to Calif prices. Don’t miss it if you’re passing through. Note: they don’t serve alcohol."
"What a happy surprise in remote Douglas, Arizona! We had a very good, authentic Mexican meal for quite a reasonable price. Several things stood out about this local fave. The service was exceptional. Our waitress (maybe the owner?) was upbeat and efficient. She handled a table of 8 and a rapidly filling restaurant by herself, multi-tasking the way wait people used to. The sit-down restaurant was clean and bright, cheerful. Nice bathroom. The food was good. Tacos were local-style, Dorado, where the corn tortilla is fried after the taco is assembled. Yum! Great refried beans. We had leftovers. Douglas itself is a strangely cool place just waiting to eventually be discovered, way off the beaten track, half an hour from hippy/hipster Bisbee where we live. Douglas is on the border of Mexican city Agua Prieta, largely Hispanic and family-oriented. Gorgeous, gorgeous early 20th century houses, and a retro downtown. We'll be back to La Fiesta."
