"I’ve been wanting to try Barrio Queen since I moved back to AZ in August 2023. I’m glad I tried it and I’m not sure I will be returning. Their tortillas are in fact handmade and their salsas they serve with chips are pretty good. My husband ordered the enchilada plate and I ordered once taco from each section except the veggie section. I ordered the quesabirra taco, the shrimp asada taco, el pastor, classic carne asada and the chicken with poblano taco. The quesobirra taco was salty but for the most part had good flavor. The chicken and poblano taco was ok, it reminded me of a corn tamale. The shrimp asada taco was refreshing and I might consider trying this one again! The asada had a weird flavor, possibly the marinade. I am a sucker for sweet and savory but the pastor taco did not meet those expectations, it was too sweet! My hubby ordered the enchiladas combo with an egg on top. The sauces on each enchilada were ok, but the red one was not. I’m not sure if it was the goat cheese or the flavor of the red sauce that was off putting. The charro beans were just regular pinto beans and on a sad note, no egg was served on top. During our dining experience we spent a total of 2 hours here and about $100. The service was great and the drinks were also. I was not pleased about how many fruit flies were flying around us and landing on our food. I may consider trying something else on the menu at another time because everyone deserves a second chance right!?"

"So super friendly staff. Great vibe! Large tables for family and some smaller ones for more intimate dinners. Amazing artwork and the food was very delicious!! Great souvenirs as they have a lil gift nook. Weather you are out on date night or bringing the family Barrio Queen is a solid choice!!"

"We held a company dinner at this location and had an amazing experience. From booking the space to the dinner itself our experience was excellent. The food was fresh and well prepared and the staff was very attentive. We’d definitely come back!!"

"It was our first time . We ordered fajitas chicken and beef . The beef came chewy. And when complained they charged us $7 for well done Asada replacement. Also when you eat this dish you will be full of onions. Because 75% of the dish is onions as you can see in the photo. Never order chicken tacos for the kids . It’s not tasty at all . My kids didn’t like it . Other wise the manager and waiter are very friendly and professional."

"This Barrio Queen location is actually great I myself believe this is a better one than most of them. The customer service was great and our server was awesome. Then side of this location is like all the other ones except for the outside seating seems like it's really big you could probably have some type of little conference there would love to have a party there and use the outside. As far as the food it was excellent full of flavor cooked to perfection."
