"Service was poor. I had to ask for my waitress several times. Most of the staff did not speak English. The food arrived cold and overcooked. I ordered chicken mole, the mole sauce was flavorless, the chicken breast was dry. The beans and rice were good. The corn tortillas tastes stale. I will not be back."

"This has been the best sit down Mexican restaurant we have found in Surprise. Really well seasoned rice and beans. The chips were fresh. I wish the salsa had a little more spice but it was good. The chicken enchilada mole was very well balanced. The green chile burro enchilada style had great flavor too."

"I was impressed by the warm beans, chips , and salsa. My drink was large and tasty. My burrito was tasty, but not a great value in comparison to others I've had for cheaper. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the staff are nice."

"So talk about a good bang for your buck. The buffet is the way to go here during the buffet hours. $21.99 and there is a little of everything with good flavors. Including omelettes cooked to order, whole shrimp ceviche, menudo and posolé, and a nice assortment of dessert options. They did a great job of decorating this place to give you that “Old Mexico” feel and the bar looked nicely stocked. If only our server would have checked on us a bit more often, I would have been fully impressed with this place. I would not recommend the pan dulce, not great, but all in all, I will definitely be back."

"The Shirley temple was not very good,(it tasted like soda water with grenadine) and the chimichanga wasn’t the greatest I’d ever had, but it was pretty good otherwise! Good service, tasty food. Pretty busy but not a long wait for food"
