Barro's Pizza 9140 West Glendale Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85305

"Really good pizza and a nice salad bar. They staff makes your salad as you tell them what you want on it, like a Subway style salad bar. All the ingredients tasted and looked fresh. The pizza was delicious. The crust was not thick but also not thin. It was light and puffy and was easy to bite through. I had the Barro's Special (I think that's what it was named) and my wife had a Kona Hawaiian pizza with chicken instead of ham. Both pizzas had plenty of toppings on them and both had delicious flavor. My wife also ordered the Salt and Vinegar wings. They weren't nearly as good as the pizzas. The wings were a little overcooked and dried out. I felt like they had way too much salt on them and the vinegar taste was quite strong. I don't think we would order the wings again, but we would definitely eat the pizza and salad again. I recommend giving Barro's Pizza a try. They had a steady customer flow while we were there. It appeared to be a favorite place for locals."

"I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with barrows pizza or wings. Always excellent. Beats sardellas any day. We had boneless buffalo wings, bone in bbq wings, pepperoni pizza, southwest/buffalo chicken pizza, and my favorite…Kona pizza."

"This use to be my go to pizza place.. personally thought it was way better than little ceaser or Pizza Hut.. the staff is nice and they’re service was fast… but the other night I ordered 2 pizzas to go.. I found a long strand of hair in the pizza… literally IN the pizza.. at first I thought it was my sisters and she was joking but it was inside the dough !!! Never coming back that was a waste of money!"

"Conveniently located, great food and great service. We ordered two pizzas and waited. It took about 15 minutes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. I ordered the vegetarian and took off the cheese. My husband ordered the Barro Special. We each thought our pizzas were delicious."
