"I used the drive thru and when I was reading the menu I noticed that the prices of the items were barely visible as someone had tampered with them (picture attached). I ordered one Carme asada quesadilla and one bean and cheese tostada. The quesadilla comes with sour cream and pico de gallo on the side I was very pleased after eating it. The service was friendly and professional. I also really like that they have outdoor siting. I will highly recommend."

"Just purchased for the first time a family taco platter. Sammy’s was recommended by a family member, because they loved the food. Today we have my entire family over to celebrate my Nanas 1st birthday in heaven, so there’s quite a bit of family to feed. Everything we picked up was sealed and closed. We got home opened up the styrofoam and started serving. My nephew bit into is taco and this hair was in-bedded inside the ground beef. It wasn’t a hair that fell out from one of us. This hair was cooked inside the ground beef. I called to speak with the owner, told him what happened & he just didn’t want to believe me. I told him I’ll bring the meat/hair with me, but he said NO YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HAIR, THERE IS 3 GUYS HERE ALL WITH SHORT HAIR. ITS NOT OURS. So I said again it’s not a hair that fell out this hair is cooked inside. I don’t want another box of meat, I want my money back & he refused. That’s disgusting, I just paid $84 & some change for this. I just thought I’d share what a filthy establishment this is and just blame there mess up on someone else."

"I’m vegan and we SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR cheese on the side ( for my wife) he also confirmed that the cheese was on the side. We drive home and look at what’s NOT on the side. Also we asked for a side of beans and asked if there was cheese in the beans and he said no and when we opened the beans there sitting in the middle of them was a glob of melted cheese! I know that not every restaurant has vegan options, I also am not the type of vegan who insists others become vegan. It’s not everyone’s thing, I get it, it’s cool, what I don’t like though is paying full price 18.00 for something I can’t eat or have to drive back to exchange. EDIT: When showed the issue with the food the cook just said “ I didn’t know cheese on the side meant all cheese” , we drove all the way back and they re made the nachos but they were mostly chips and very little anything else. We should have just got our money back and went somewhere else. We won’t be coming back here. Oro Valley food is just too expensive anymore!"

"Deliciously made cuisines...spectacular view while enjoying your meal. True to taste meal made by their talented son who is on his way to becoming a well known chef as well. Met the owners lovely wife who gave me a very detailed story of how the diner became as popular and well known. Even President Trump made an appearance at their diner!!! I will definitely be coming back!!!"
