"This restaurant is poorly staffed and sadly organized. It is in one of the only rest areas along I8. If you want a quick meal I would go somewhere else. It took almost 20 minutes to get our food and they’re numbering system made it impossible to know who’s order was who’s."

"This Carl's Jr is one of the best I've ever been to. Bathrooms are always clean and tidy, morning shift really knows what they're doing. Their manager is very friendly and clearly trains her crew well. Food was hot and great too."

"Drive thru, 1 car ahead of us and they were told to pull ahead, then we were also. They finally brought food to the 1st car, but incomplete and they pulled around and parked. We waited 10 minutes, no one behind us, never brought our food, my wife went inside and the employees were chatting! No customers. Oh yeah, here you go. Then the food was barely warm?! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!"

"I used to enjoy eating at Carl Jr... but this one in Gila Bend, AZ served meat in their burgers that seemed 'steamed' and no longer 'Char Broiled '... The young lady behind the counter seemed to need coaching at every step of the customer interaction. Had to get her attention from having her back to the counter when I first approached, then I placed my order, went to the restroom (Gila is a 'two lane' pit stop town between Phoenix and Yuma)... when I got back to the counter, I could see our tray sitting in the portal between the kitchen and the order counter, and again the counter attendant, head buried in her phone, and I had to ask if that was our food and if it was ready. I ordered a shake with my meal and instead of using the time while I was away from the counter to make the shake, it appeared that she had just been on the phone. The older shift manager was busy out on the floor cleaning up trash left by other patrons. This lady was carting trash bags that she had been filling up with the dinner room leftovers, back and forth and then right past the order counter and into the kitchen. Finally I asked about my shake and the young lady behind the counter said, "oh yeah, I forgot" to which the returning shift manager, sans her trash sack from the kitchen area, said, "I got the shake, you take that guys order" in reference to the next person who had just walked in. Did she wash her hands from her trash picking up duties??? From these two Carls Jr. employees, I saw one person (the older shift lead)... busy busy busy and the younger lady, still too untrained. Corporate Carl Jr...please evaluate you staffing and training approaches for customer service and restaurant cleanliness."
