"The restaurant is a 90 year old establishment. It is under new ownership. The owner says he has been working on many improvements. This was my first time here. The tables have their own small personal antique juke boxes. They are not functioning as connected to a main music juke box, but you can flip the selections, to read all the old songs...that was fun. They have a giant LED horseshoe light on the ceiling. Lots of cute touches and surprises. I ordered fried pickles with crispy, ultra light batter, which made them the best. I ordered a traditional cheese burger, and my husband ordered beef stroganoff. He loved his beef stroganoff. He said the noodles had a creamy flavor although covered in a brown colored sauce, he said he would describe them as creamy. He was very happy. I had a cheeseburger with a horseshoe branded on the top of the bun, and it had a horseshoe toothpick holding it together. Very cute, kitschy surprises at our delicious lunch. My burger was an old fashioned, I believe, pan fried buttered burger. It was very tasty!!! The best part of the meal, was our adorable, personable, helpful, and pleasant server, Alyssa. We adored her cute ways and very upbeat personality. We had a great experience here. We loved the food and the esthetic of the 90 year old restaurant. It was fantastic! One more thing, don't forget the banana cream pie, it is better than grandma's homemade tried and true recipe!!! :)"

"Very nice breakfast. We asked for everything to be cooked in butter (not oil/margarine) and they happily agreed. Food was very good. Homemade muffins! Service was super friendly. Nice local spot!"
