"I have taken my vehicle to Jam-n-j’s twice. The first time they replaced the transmission in my 2012 Ford F150. They provided me the lowest price in town by far. Jesus was easy to work with, honest and very transparent. Overall great experience. It made me excited to have a great mechanic to go back to for future repairs or recommend to others. My second time taking my vehicle to jam-n-j’s I was having issues with my speedometer and dash turning off while I was driving. Every couple days I would call in to see if they had any news on my vehicle. Every time they I called in they pushed back the time estimated date of completion a couple more days. I always had to call in and the shop never called me on the days they said me vehicle should have been done. This went on for 5 weeks. Eventually I picked my truck up with no repairs completed. Overall: One amazing 5 star experience and one poor one star experience. The team is fair and offers great prices"

"Came in for two issues: 1) My car was making a knocking sound whenever I turned the steering wheel 2) Needed new tires I had received quotes from a couple other businesses in the area and brought them with me on my visit. I always come prepared so I don't get taken advantage of. For issue #1 (knocking sound), they were able to fix the issue cheaper here than at other shops, mainly because they just replaced the strut housing instead of the entire strut. I was happy to save some money on this issue. For issue #2 (tires), I brought with me a quote from Pep Boys up in Tucson that included four new tires with a 65000 tread life warranty. Jesus said he could match that installed price for tires that also included 65000 mile tread warranty. However, now, a month after the service, I decided to research the tires they put on my vehicle just to make sure everything was kosher (I know, I should've done this immediately, lesson learned). Unfortunately the tires they put on are Goodyear Assurance Finesse which have NO tread life warranty. I wish I had the service done at Pep Boys for the better tires at the same price. So I'm going to have to knock off a couple stars for that. It also took them almost two weeks to fix the above issues. Jesus said it was because they didn't realize the strut housing was more pieces than they originally thought, and they had to order the extra parts in (they did not charge me extra for them). I'm just glad I had a backup vehicle I could use because it would've sucked to not have a car for two weeks. I'm not going to take any extra stars off for this since, in fairness, I told them they could have the car as long as they needed since I had a backup vehicle. I just didn't think it would take two weeks. One other thing to be aware of is that they charge an extra 3% if you want to use your credit/debit card. Overall, I feel a little disappointed about the tire issue, but the knocking sound hasn't returned a month after I had the service done, so they did that part well."

"Fair, good service so far. I have basic to intermediate car knowledge, so I ask them what I need to get done and they have always deliver. Is not like going to Midas, Firestone or any of these big chain stores. They will not try to sell you services that you don't need. Hourly mechanical rate is standard, not too high, not too low. Fair. I recommend them."

"I have an AWD lifted Astro. Two other garages had tried to find the leak in my air shocks, and had failed. The owner here found the leak and fixed it quickly. He also was able to fix my bad blower on my heater. He found chewed wires and fixed them, others had failed or perhaps just didn't have the patience/desire to mess with it. Additionally, they installed new heavy duty rear leaf springs on my van as my old ones were shot. Their recommendation was perfect, my van rides wonderfully now. I was very happy with how I was treated, and I felt the labor charge was very fair. He could have told me I needed new rear shocks too, but he didn't, he fixed the leak and I don't think he even charged me for that particular job. I am very happy with how I was treated, and very satisfied with the work done and the fair prices. Thank you so much!!!"

"Awful experience recently with this business. The owner was very unprofessional and has awful communication skills. We decided to give them a shot based off of their reviews and we quickly regretted that. If you are in the Sierra vista/ fort Huachuca area do not go here! Next time I will just pay extra to get my vehicle towed to Tucson. Had an engine replaced took 4 times longer than promised when we got our vehicle back they had not connected the turbo charge tube which could have led to more extensive damage, money and time. They did not bleed the power steering nor was there ANY power steering fluid, the ac did not work, and the transmission fluid was 6 quarts too low. Luckily my husband is mechanically inclined and could fix all of this so we didn’t have to take it back. However when we let the owner know what all was wrong even after 8 weeks of it being in his shop he was very arrogant and unapologetic of his shops negligence. When you pay almost 10k and they have your vehicle for 8 weeks you’d expect the job to be done and correctly. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Do not recommend and will not go back."
